Inna Innaki Interview: A Pornstar Dedicated to Giving Back
Inna Innaki is known as the “Greek Goddess” to fans worldwide! A deity of talent in more ways than one, Innaki wowed the industry when she launched SugarBabesTV in 2017. We’re pleased to present a brand-new interview with this star!

Where were you born in Greece? Tell us a little bit about your background.
I was born in Peristeri, Athens, Greece! It’s a nice neighborhood with nice people!
How did you get into the adult industry?
Oh, it was long time ago! Actually I start out doing live sex shows with my husband in some strip clubs in Athens. In the clubs, one producer learned about us and invited us to perform on camera. I still remember my first video. I was so shy and so scared until everything started, then I relaxed and understood that actually it is nice. I like the camera and the camera likes me!
Tell us a little bit about the Greek porn industry in general.
The Greek porn industry is not big, to be honest, actually. It has two production companies — mine, SugarBabes.TV, which is the top one now, one more old one, which stopped shooting for some reason! Initially we had not so many actresses and actors, but since we started, we’ve found a lot of people who want to get in this industry, and I am happy that I am the one to give them this opportunity.
How did SugarBabes.TV come about?
To be honest, I hadn’t even been considering opening my own production studio. I was in Budapest for some shoots as an actress for different productions, and one night we had dinner with, like, five or six directors at the same table. One of them asked me, “Inna, what you are going to do after you stop shooting? You know that you can’t be an actress forever.” So I didn’t want to think about getting out of the industry. I love it so much! So I thought about opening my own production and told him, “Well, why not be a producer?” And all of the directors agreed with me and supported my decision.

What do you most value in a co-star?
That’s an easy one and I think that the rest of the producers and directors think the same.
To not be trouble. I love models who are easy to shoot with, who aren’t haughtily sticking their nose in the air. I don’t care how famous they are, if I can’t enjoy the shooting, there is no reason for me to work with him or her!
I love models who show up on time, who don’t complain all the time, who are happy to shoot, and who come to shoot because they like it, and not because they want to get done and get paid!
What prompted you to give portions of your magazine profits to charity? Which charities/causes are you most passionate about?
Actually I give not only portions of my magazine profits to charity but also part of the signups from our site, Sugarbabes.Tv. Well, I am a soft person who always likes to help, and I remember that before we started this job, I was working 16 hours per day for almost 25 euro [approximately $28]. I am from a poor family. We didn’t have a lot! I know what it is to be poor and unable to find a good job, so I decided if some day I started making money, I’d help when I could. So I said 50% from the profit of the magazine will go to charity. I didn’t expect that the magazine would do so well, and when I saw the sales I was so happy, because we had a very, very good profit.
Up to this point, we’ve done six [major donations]. The first one was for 10,000 masks in Athens for the public in the beginning of this COVID situation. In Athens, it was very hard to find masks, and they were like two euros each, so we decided to share masks. The second one was for an orphanage — we gave 10,000 toys to children. When I saw their smiles and happiness in that moment, I started to cry. The third one was for a shelter for women with abusive husbands and their families. They don’t have anywhere to stay and live, so when I asked them what they needed, they told me Pampers for the babies. So we bought 10,000 Pampers for them. And one for the animals who were affected by the big fires here in Greece — the summer was very hard. A lot of people lost their homes, and a lot of animals were harmed, so we bought a lot of food for them, plus pills and medicines so the animals could be cared for! The next one will be for children with cancer, and for the other, we will pay for some Invitro procedures for couples who want to get pregnant but can’t in the normal way!
What lessons have you learned about yourself and the industry during the worldwide pandemic?
That we are strong, no matter of what, and we are united, no matter of what! Through it all, we had a lot of opportunities from another producers and directors, and we helped each other in many ways.
Of all your many achievements, which one makes you the most proud?
The charity ventures! I want to help all the time, and for me, it’s more important to see people happy and to give them hope for a better life and a brighter future!
Those are the precious moments for me.
Do you yourself watch much porn, just for fun? If so, what genres do you enjoy?
Yes, of course, I watch a lot of porn, but unfortunately, not like before.
Now when I watch porn and try to enjoy it, I lose focus and start to pay more attention to the lights, the props, the clothes, if the angle is good, or what a different shooting angle would look like. It is not like before, but yes, I have my moments! And I prefer more sensual scenes for women. I don’t like it to be hardcore, but that’s just a personal preference. More lesbians threesomes with more women than men. The only thing that drives me crazy is when I find a good scene and then I see someone I know. Fuck, then I’m like, “I can’t masturbate to this. I know this person!” And I switch to another video.
If you had your entire career to do over again, is there anything you’d do differently?
No, I have no regrets for anything! I was happy every time when I was shooting, and I am still happy. I don’t think that I did anything I will regret!
What do you think is the single biggest challenge facing the adult industry today?
Maybe the way that they try to shut us down from every angle with rules and regulations. Why is it okay to watch a mainstream horror movie, with killings and rapes and drugs and weapons and drinking alcohol and many many more things, but when we use just a little bit of fake blood, it’s “Ohhhhhh, it’s not permitted in porn!” I believe that we have a lot of pressure from above, and we can’t express ourselves in the way we want to.
What are your plans and projects for 2022 and beyond?
Shoot a lot of movies, of course, and help as many people as possible with our charity!
