It was a blast! I love being in front of the camera. Being able to direct just took it to the next level.
What was the vibe on the set of the movie?
It was very laid back and chill. I wanted all the talent to have fun so I could get their best performance on camera.
What is the meaning behind American Honey?
I thought it was a sexy concept. I’m focusing on American talent aka American Honeys.
What made you choose three-ways as the theme for this movie?
Threesomes are my favorite type of scene to do, so I thought what better genre to have for my first release.
How did you select the cast?
I booked some of my favorite girls and guys to have sex with, so the chemistry would be hot.
The cover art boasts “Made in the U.S.A.” Was it a conscious decision to emphasize the American-made aspect of this movie?
It definitely was! I wanted to set myself apart from all the Euro porn out there.
How do you account for America’s abiding fascination with MILFs?
Older women know what they’re doing and they know what they want. They aren’t afraid to take charge in the bedroom and they’re in their sexual prime. Who doesn’t like that?!
What do you have in mind for your follow-up directorial efforts?
Well I’m full of ideas, but I want to emphasize busty curvy women in my films. I love T and A!
