Christina Shine Interview: The Star Behind MixedX
Christina Shine is true porn filmmaker who cites luminaries such as Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan as major influences. Get the behind-the-scenes story of this Hungarian star and MixedX creator in our new blog interview.

Tell us a little bit about your backstory. What did you do before getting into porn?
I was a fitness trainer before I joined the porn industry.
What made you decide to join the industry?
I’ve been a porn fan since I was a teenager. My boyfriend had a cuckold fetish. He loves “bang my wife” scenes. Then one day, we spoke about the porn industry, and I decided to try to be an actress.
Tell us about the overall feel of the porn scene in Hungary.
Budapest is a well-known porn city in Europe. When I was a beginner, I loved to shoot in Hungary. It feels like we are a small porn family here. Right now, I don’t often shoot because I do my own production company.
Is there a particular movie or scene that you think best captures your style as a performer?
It’s interesting because I don’t have many scenes since I started making porn. I have favorite ones. The best ones that we created with my hubby on MixedX with Joss Lescaf.
Talk a little bit about the development of MixedX, your porn label.
In 2016, we started to create amateur videos on ManyVids and Clips4Sale. Then we became real movie addicts, and we learned how to make movies. For example, my boyfriend went to school, and he became a cinematographer, and I learned to write and direct and work behind the camera. This knowledge led us to create high-quality cinema scenes with professional lightning on MixedX, released in 2019.
What do you regard as your biggest artistic influences as a filmmaker?
Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino.

What do you feel is the most important aspect in having good on screen chemistry?
It is essential to have a professional crew behind the actors and make the performers comfortable. As an actress, I think respect and flirting, and hygiene make chemistry.
Tell us about your scene with David Perry and Darrell Deeps in the movie Double Penetration Temptation.
I loved this shoot. I have known David and Darrel for years, so the shoot was hot and funny. We know each other, and it’s very easy to shoot if you know what your scene partner is like so we can satisfy each other.
What aspect of filmmaking is most important to creating a specific mood in a porn movie?
I think a professional script and lighting.
Talk about working with Rocco Siffredi.
I will never forget this shoot. This was my first anal shoot with Rocco. I was so excited to shoot this scene. It’s never been a secret that I’m a fan of Rocco. Unfortunately, I was an absolute beginner and an amateur at that time when he booked me to do this scene. He was a gentleman, and he helped me to make this scene. I wish to work with him again, not like an amateur performer. This scene was six years ago. He never booked me again 😀😀😀
In what ways both good or bad have you witnessed the industry changing through the years?
As I wrote, Budapest is a porn city. We have a close relationship with producers and agencies, which is important and good.
After years in the porn industry, I hate that very talented performers don’t get enough attention and less professional performers get famous by brands. It’s very unfair.
How did your collaboration and association with Adult Time come about?
We are fortunate to have this relationship with Adult Time, and we are so grateful. We worked hard and created unique content that enabled us to work with them. Now we are officially partners.
What are your favorite TV shows, movies, music, books, etc.?
I love Christopher Nolan’s movies and art movies. My music taste is crazy. It depends on my mood, but I love heavy metal, goth, and hip-hop.
My favorite singer is Marilyn Manson.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I wake up, and I drank water. Then I go walking with my dog. I’m like a housewife material 😀 — cooking and cleaning. As a director, I take the time to write a script and arrange the shooting. I’m a fitness girl. I used to go to the gym three times per week.
What are your feelings about social media? Love it or hate it?
I love social media platforms because I can get closer to my fans and advertise my website. I wouldn’t say I hate it, but a lot of young people get sad or depressed because a lot of people show a luxurious life and beauty.
