On porn fans:

They’re just people, too, whatever state they are, whatever country they are. I guess their loyalty kind of surprises me sometimes. Sometimes I think if I change my look a little bit, or if I get more naughty or less naughty, that I’ll lose part of my following. But they’re always pretty much there. And once they like you, they like you. o i guess  I’ve gotten kind of a glimpse into that and that’s been really cool.

On re-watching her first porn scene:

I actually just watched it for the first time, a couple months ago. [ . . .] It was just not that great, but my fans have loved it. So I assumed it was going to be really good. And I watched it and I was like, “What the fuck am I watching?” [The industry is] just so much better now. Myself included! What was I thinking with those eyebrows? I was really new. So I still didn’t really know that much about sex. I learned a lot about sex and porn. So I just didn’t really know the range of sexual feats.

So [the scene interviewer] asked me like, “What’s the fastest you’ve ever made someone come?” and I was like, “Oh, really fast.” He’s like, “How long?” and I was like, “Five minutes.” I’ve had guys blow their load within two pumps! So I don’t think I really realized how much sex there was there. Anyways, yeah, so it was just kind of funny to watch. I was like, “Oh, little Natasha weirdo. I’m turning this off.”

On the increased power of contemporary pornstars:

With the rise of OnlyFans — and then camming has been around for a little bit longer — we can just kind of opt for not shooting for production companies and just like make our own content, hit up the performers we like and just collaborate on stuff with them. And that is an option for us if we want to do that 100%. And it’s actually a more viable option financially. It’s almost a little bit unwise to choose movie productions to have movie production be your main source of work. Because OnlyFans money is totally there if you want to commit yourself to it. But at the same time, you do still kind of need the movie productions.

I feel like if only because the content platform legal landscape is a little bit insecure sometimes. So I like to have my safety net there, but also because they have so much traffic. So I feel like when I have a lot of new movies in circulation, my OnlyFans gets a lot more action. So it’s kind of like you have to balance it and then give of yourself to the different sources as efficiently as possible. But definitely like when I first started, it was kind of just all shooting for production companies and you just kind of waited for the phone to ring. Now it’s like you could wake up in the morning and just make a shit ton of money if you want to do that. So it’s definitely more empowering than it’s ever been.

On being known for her boobs:

It’s kind of the nature of the business. We’re going to be marketed for our greatest assets. But a lot of people look at me, too, as like a really good actress. They look at me as like a hot stepmom, a hot stepsister, a French girl kinky, like natural. So I think in general, if you had to take an entire industry and market consensus, maybe boobs would be the word to define me. But there are a lot of different angles to me. And I think most of my fans know that. No, it doesn’t bother me. I love my kids.

On working with HardX director Mason:

She is interesting. I wish she would ask me out on a date. I would totally go! You can’t really figure her out, but whatever she does she does it well. And she has a vision that’s hot and sexy. I always love promoting the scenes that Mason shot of mine because they just always look so good and they’re always really hot. She pairs me with really good performers. She chooses her wardrobe very specifically. You can’t really see what she’s up to, but what she’s up to was also something great. So I guess, again, just a natural. She just knows what she’s doing. She knows what she’s looking for.

On whether she wishes she started in porn at a later age:

I don’t know that I’d want to. I’ve gotten to be who I am because I came in just kind of like gung-ho just having fun, just a young girl being a little sexually rebellious and not really caring about the repercussions. And that’s kind of why people were like, “Oh, this girl’s legit. She’s a straight-up slut and we want her in our movie.” So I think when you’re older, you’re a little bit more reserved, and you’re a little bit more picky. And so maybe I wouldn’t have had the waves of success that I found when I was 18. But since I started when I was young, and now that I’m older, I just apply my maturity to doing my job better and better every year in whatever capacity I can or that I see available. So it’s just kind of like such a big part of me that now even though I’m older, I think I’m still pretty decent at it.

On her advice to her younger self:

Stop drinking and go to bed on time. I was just such a little fucking wild animal. I was like, “Yeah, I’m out of the house. I’m going to fucking do whatever I want to do.” But self-care is so, so fucking important and the camera captures it. So definitely, you little 18-year-old whore, drink water and use sunscreen and stay away from drugs as long as you can.

On getting recognized in public:

That is one of the most entertaining things in my life is to watch people as they try to figure out where they know me from, because it happens all the time. And I operate like I’m not a pornstar. I pretend that I’m not. I’m regular old me, you know, so I’m in the elevator talking to a group of guys or whatever. I’m at the dog park talking to a guy and his girlfriend or whatever. And it happens so frequently.

And I just like just kind of keep going like I’m a regular person. And I think that kind of confuses them more, because as I start talking, they’re like, “No, I definitely know this girl. I’ve seen these fucking mannerisms. I’ve seen those boobs, you know?” So they definitely recognize me. But then they’re also talking to me like I’m a totally regular person who lives right next door. So it takes a minute for their brain to realize that they actually have me in the hidden locked-up part in their brain.

Interview transcript

Naughty or nice?

Dallas

On Twitter, you describe yourself as nice, naughty, and everything in between. So on a typical day, where do you think you fall on that continuum?

Natasha Nice
Well, my mind is always pretty naughty. My behavior’s pretty nice until I find something naughty to play with. So I’m more on the naughty side more often than not.

Dallas

When it comes to pornstars, what’s the balance? Do you think people mostly want to see that naughty aspect — which would be the intuitive thought — Or do you think they also want a huge chunk of nice, of that relatability, of that kind of every day, could be somebody down the street, could be your friend type thing?

Natasha
I think they definitely want the naughty. They definitely want to see us have our, you know, our sexy debaucherous fun or whatever. But I think that they also want to see just out of curiosity what we’re like when we’re not fucking or being sweaty, just to kind of like put the rest of the puzzle together and maybe elaborate the fantasy and see if they like have anything in common with us. But definitely mostly naughty for sure.

Porn fans: a loyal bunch

Dallas
So you, of course, started out, as I understand it, around 2006, when you shot your first scenes, approximately, right? So that more or less predates the contemporary social media landscape. So what has surprised you most about fans when you’ve had like more direct interactions with them via social media over the years?

Natasha
I don’t know! I’ve gotten kind of a glimpse into that and that’s been really cool.

Early days of internet porn

Dallas

Were you an early adopter of social media or did you come to it kicking and screaming?

Natasha
No, I mean, I’ve loved the internet since I’ve known about the internet, since I was like nine years old or something and I like was always watching porn on the Hun.com. And I broke my parents’ computer because I was watching too much porn. And then I was keeping my ears open for different websites I could visit like Limitedtoo.com. It was a clothing store back then. And just like I just always wanted to use the internet, and then, yeah, social media has come up. I’ve used it as much as I’ve wanted to. I think I gave up Facebook a while ago just because it was too much. And Twitter’s much more fun and more simple and I just kind of started to hop on that bandwagon.

Dallas

You were talking there about your early internet experiences, which anticipates one of the topics that I wanted to cover, those early experiences with porn and what porn was like when you were first watching it. So was your first interface with pornography was on a computer screen like downloading something back in the 2000s or whenever it would have been?

Natasha

I think so. It was on a computer with a back, like a box. It wasn’t a laptop, had the tower and everything. And I don’t remember downloading, but I don’t think streaming was going on. Then I would just kind of click the link and I think it would just start playing. And then I would see that it wasn’t in fact anal even though it said it was anal and then I’d go back and go look for more anal. That’s all I remember. I was always chasing anal. I was like, “Give it to me.” I don’t know why I just loved it so much. People definitely chase anal.

Dallas

So you were chasing anal back in those days. Sounds like the title of a movie or something like that chasing anal — probably is actually. There’s got to be a porn movie of that title, right? Speaking of zany titles, what offhand is the craziest title of a movie that you’ve been in?

Natasha
Oh, fuck! Probably something along the lines of Blackzilla or something. Something ridiculous like that. I don’t know!

Dallas

So, Blackzilla, that sounds familiar. So that’s like a BBC [movie]? Was Blackzilla a specific performer? That rings a bell to me, but I can’t quite place it.

Natasha
At the time, it was a specific performer. I could be wrong. I think I have some copies somewhere in my closet. But yeah, I just remember seeing, and it was, like, big, scary letters. I don’t think you’d really actually see that today! People would be like, “What the fuck?” But when I first first started and it was like scary letters or whatever. And then just like my little 19-year-old face with a huge black cock on half of it. Really pretty! Like the makeup was spot on that day. I don’t know. I just I guess I just remember it for that reason.

Dallas

Because you’re right! There was that whole vogue of it’s almost like a horror movie or something lik cock is going to “terrorize” this this young starlet type thing. Are there times when you’re shooting a movie, and it’s just kind of a normal shoot, and then you see how it’s promoted, and you’re like, “Wow, that is completely different from what I imagined it to be!” on the promotional end, how they were packaging it.

Natasha

Maybe from the point where I’m reading the script to the very end. But once I’m on set, I think I have a general idea of what the vision is going to be. Yeah, it becomes pretty clear, especially when you know the directors or whatever, you know what they tend to emphasize and you know where their heads are at. You can kind of piece it together. But I mean, the editing usually has a lot to do with it. So it kind of just depends on what they come up with them that phase.

Performers have more control now

Dallas

Right, speaking of which is something that you said, in an interview we did with you a couple of years ago, when we asked you about how the industry had changed. You said something interesting. You’d say, “I’d say that the roles girls play in their careers has definitely shifted.”  I wondered if you could elaborate a little bit on that the greater degree of control performers have in the contemporary industry

Natasha
Yeah, I mean, it’s pretty simple.

The shifting role of studio content

Dallas

So the role that studio content plays has shifted considerably then, from what you’re describing.

Natasha
Yeah, and I don’t think COVID helped too much either. That kind of really forced us to be our own creators if we weren’t already doing it. But it’s kind of a bummer because they’re honestly better than they’ve ever been, just their quality and their scripts and everything. It’s the most modernized I’ve ever seen it. It’s the most interesting and well rounded I’ve ever seen it. So I think that’s kind of saved them a little bit and that way like at least for me when I shoot a movie, that I’m proud of it. It’s a way better movie than the movies I was proud of 10 years ago. So I still kind of get that that high and that adrenaline from shooting for those companies. So I guess I just keep doing it!

Dallas

So what’s an example of a recent movie that embodies what you’re talking about, a studio movie that you’ve been really proud of?

Natasha
I have to go through my Twitter, but honestly anything I guess by Adult Time or by Nubile Films. They use me a lot. They really like my boobs. They care about the wardrobe. They care about the script. Sometimes it’s just like a little tweak in a word that I don’t think matters. But they know it does matter, for some degree, for whatever reason. And so people just care more and they’re more inspired to create something that flows really well. And that’s also not too corny. That’s kind of somewhat realistic, because I think the markets really like that, too, now. They’re a little bit over the super, super fake porn, I think. At least my fans are but . . . specific movie. So yeah, pretty much anything by those two studios. I feel like they’re just making better movies than they were making when I first started.

Re-watching her first porn scene

Dallas

I went back through your filmography and I was trying to figure out what your very very first scene was. And I thought I’d found it but now I’m not sure. The scene that I’m assuming is your first is one you shot with John Strong for I think Diabolic or something like that?

Natasha
Was for Red Light District. And I actually just watched it for the first time, a couple months ago. I forget what it was called. Like Casting Couch? Yeah. . But that was not like what they’re making today. It was just not that great, but my fans have loved it. So I assumed it was going to be really good. And I watched it and I was like, “What the fuck am I watching?” It’s just so much better now.

Myself included! What was I thinking with those eyebrows. And then I was like, I was really new. So I still didn’t really know that much about sex. I learned a lot about sex and porn. So I just didn’t really know the range of sexual feats. So he asked me like, what’s the fastest you’ve ever made someone come and I was like, “Oh, really fast.” He’s like, “How long?” and I was like, “Five minutes.” I’ve had guys blow their load within like two pumps. So I don’t think I really realized how much sex there was there. Anyways, yeah, so it was just kind of funny to watch. I was like, “Oh, little Natasha weirdo. I’m turning this off.”

Dallas

But you did come across as very confident in that scene or that interview. Your answers were very, very sturdy, like you said — “Five minutes!”

Natasha
I wasn’t going to show up with my tail between my legs. I was making a fucking porno. I had to have some balls, right. But I don’t know. I was cute. I was young.

Dallas

So prior to that you had shot a few solo scenes or something like that. But that was your first boy girl, I take it.

Natasha
Yeah, I shot a solo scene in a hotel room. In Valley Glen, and I never saw it. So who knows what the fuck that was. My boyfriend went with me. And then I shot another solo scene for Matt’s Models. And that was just kind of like, again, just like little me just kind of sitting on the couch answering questions. I don’t think I really had like a vision for how movies were going to look once they came out because I hadn’t really seen that yet. So I was just kind of talking to the camera guy. And I was just like, okay, whatever. There’s this contraption here with a lens on it. I’ll figure that out later. And yeah, so I was just kind of like my awkward little self. Wasn’t really quite a performer yet, but I guess they liked me anyways.

Porn before and after digital piracy

Dallas

And when you started in 2006, that was obviously like just before Pornhub really began to enter the scene. That was just before porn piracy began to become a thing. Unfortunately, that was also shortly before the financial crisis. So there were a lot of big sea changes that happened in pornography just a year or two after that, and some people have said that they miss the era before that. But you’re saying that on the whole, you think it’s good deal better now than it was is pre all of that?

Natasha
Well, I guess I only got the tail end of what was, you know, what preceded the Pornhub era? But I definitely like the progress of our industry. There’s a lot of shit to be said about porn good and bad, right? But I mean, as long as performers can make money off of the content, the advertisements, the views, then I’d say they’ve kind of at least turned that part around. So at that time, my main thing was just shooting for production companies. So I didn’t really care too much about, Natashanice.com, or the fact that, you know, I’ve been was putting all those scenes on Pornhub. I didn’t really feel that direct impact of that. But I knew that it was like sucking up some of my peers and my director friends. So I guess I kind of looked down on it a little bit, in that sense, but other than that, I feel like the industry has just kind of progressed moved forward in so many ways that I wouldn’t want to go backwards. I don’t know what it was like before 2006. But I don’t think I’d want to go there.

Big boobs: pros and cons?

Dallas

I was looking through your filmography and there is one movie that is literally called Big F’n Titties. And I’m not I’m not censoring that. It’s actually called Big F-apostrophe-N Titties. So I wondered — does it ever bother you that you’re in some sense to some people anyway defined by your breasts?

Natasha
It’s kind of the nature of the business we’re going to be marketed for our greatest assets. No, it doesn’t bother me, I love my kids.

Dallas

Angela White when we discussed this same topic with her said that she sometimes just kind of forgets about her boobs completely, that they’re just part of her. And she’s not moment-to-moment really cognizant of the fact that she has big boobs. Do you feel the same way? Do you just forget about your boobs most of the time?

Natasha
I guess I kind of do when I’m talking to people., I forget the impact that they have on people, men and women. And so I forget to be a little bit more aware of that. But there’s not really anything I can do to kind of like change that impact other than hide them or whatever. And that’s just stupid. I’m not going to do that. But no, for the most part, I’m usually pretty aware of them. And I kind of love them. Like sometimes I’ll be looking in the mirror. This is going to sound really cocky. But sometimes I’ll be looking in the mirror and like, even if I’m having a bad day, I’m like, “Damn, I have great fucking tits.” That is awesome. It makes you feel really grateful. That’s stupid! It’s the little things in life, right.

Dear Abby: a memorable role

Dallas

You were talking there about your multiple sides and your multiple talents. So you’ve had a lot of notable performances over the years. I know one of the big ones is Dear Abby for New Sensations is one of your notable performances, of course. So what are your memories about that particular movie?

Natasha

Now I remember feeling like, “Okay, this could be a more well rounded career. It’s not just about like, being hot. You can I can actually develop some other talents in porn.” I remember that. I remember really loving [writer] Jacky St. James. I had gone to audition for another role in that movie. And I guess like the lead actress failed, or I don’t know what happened there. But then they had me come back and audition for Abby. And I was like, “Ooh, this is exciting!” And I don’t know, the whole experience is just really exciting. And I loved working with Jacky and New Sensations has always kind of been one of my favorite companies. So it was definitely one of the highlights of my career.

Dallas

What’s Jacky’s style as a director?

Natasha
It’s interesting because she knows that she needs to direct, but she also knows that she needs to keep it real with the performers on another level. So and she manages to balance that really well that like, I know I’m there to do a job but I also know I can like be myself in the role. I don’t have to force it too much. So she’s just like a natural, I guess.

Working with Mason

Dallas

And you’ve worked with a lot of big name directors over the course of your career, obviously A few that come to mind Greg Lansky, obviously who created blacked originally, Jonni Darkko famous director that everyone will recognize. Also Mason and speaking of Mason is a person who I think cultivate somewhat of mysterious air at least to the to the general population. So what is she like on the set?

Natasha
Yeah, definitely she works and then she goes home and always mysterious. I don’t know! She is interesting. I wish she would ask me out on a date. I would totally go! You can’t really like figure her out, but whatever she does she does it well.

Dallas

You mentioned there that if she asked you out on a date, you would totally say yes. So that’s a very intriguing statement. So do you think she herself could be a great on-camera performer if she wanted to be, if there were a universe where she wanted to do that?

Natasha
I have no idea. I’m sure she’s fun in bed!

Dallas

Because it just sounds like you’re describing someone who has a lot of charisma. And it sounds like the charisma that could also be effective on screen.

Natasha

Well, I don’t think she really presents herself as like — I don’t think she shows up to entertain. She has her camera to entertain so I would have a hard time viewing her as like a performer, but I think just like being around her and seeing how she is, she’s interesting. She can be quiet and then she can say whatever the fuck she feels like saying, so I think there’s probably a lot there, but she doesn’t show it to the world, at least our world.

Dallas

And her movies always look really, really good. And it’s the same thing for, say, Jonni Darko, like really, really spectacular, beautiful visual product. So are they very fastidious on set set? Do they give you a little bit of a tough love? Do they give you constructive criticism to get the visual that they want at any times?

Natasha
She literally directs me. The camera will be rolling — it’ll be on my face. My eyes are deep in the lens and she’ll be directing me, telling me, do this, do that, slow down, hurry up. But that’s what she’s paying me for so yeah, she just wants me to really always be kind of connecting with the camera in one way or another and pressing the camera, whereas a lot of people might just want to see how you actually fuck and how you actually take this dick or whatever she’s more like do something a little bit more exciting for the camera. She doesn’t capture what’s real, just that she always wants what’s in her lens to be like as exciting as possible. And I don’t blame her for it. I mean she does really well. Movies are great.

Double penetration scenes

Dallas

I’ve heard that from a couple of porn stars that DPs in a way are easy because they don’t have to do much of the work. It’s the guys who are kind of doing all the “heavy lifting.”

Natasha
Yeah, and you don’t have to — not that you normally would — but you definitely don’t have to fake anything, because chances are one of your holes is going to feel amazing so when I get to fuck multiple men.

Adult Empire’s 25th anniversary

Dallas

So this year is actually Adult Empire’s 25th anniversary, which is bizarre to think. Thank you! Silver anniversary here for Adult Empire. So of course that means that we started in 1997, so I thought we could step back in a time machine and just talk briefly about the late 1990s. When you think late 1990s, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

Natasha

Well, I was nine so I think Northridge earthquake and music. I guess for me, that’s when I really started watching MTV. And like the spring break videos and like putting tanning oil on. I was really young for that anyways — like wearing bikinis and like getting excited about my boobs. I think the music that comes to mind might be like Nirvana. Or I listened to a lot of hip hop when I first started listening to music. So maybe like Jay Z. I really liked the Beastie Boys. That was my favorite band them and Limp Bizkit. And Avril Lavigne. I guess I definitely liked punk and rock. And then it moved on to hip hop.

Favorite mainstream movies

Dallas

And then of course 1997 was the year of Titanic and I know from a prior interview would you did with a colleague that Titanic is one of your favorites, right?

Natasha
It is one of my favorites. I have a poster of the Titanic up on my wall. I’ve seen it probably like 15 times when I used to live in San Francisco. And I would come down to LA to shoot. I had like a method for packing. And I would start the movie The Titanic. And by the end of the movie The Titanic, I had to be done packing so that was my method. But I like it a little bit less now because I’ve realized that it’s really kind of like a tale of denial. And I get it pisses me off. I’m like they had all these signs that the ship was going to sink and they didn’t do anything about it and I’m like, “Oh, that’s really fucking stupid.” So I don’t know it’s not my number one favorite movie anymore. It’s maybe my number five.

Dallas

Out of curiosity, what’s number one now if you had to choose?

Natasha
I’m really like Aviator and The Greatest Showman, Lord of the Rings. Parts two and three are really good parts. Part one is really good too. But two and three are my favorites. Catch Me If You Can is good. Coach Carter is really good. Save the Last Dance! I’ve always liked Save the Last Dance.

Dallas

Aviator also with DiCaprio if I’m remembering correctly, so there’s a little bit of a theme there.

Natasha
Yeah, it’s Howard Hughes. Really good. And Howard Hughes was fucking nuts. And DiCaprio plays nuts so well. He’s really good in, not Gangs of New York. Another one that has an insanely good cast with, like, Jack Nicholson —

Dallas

Oh, The Departed?

Natasha

Yeah, The Departed. He’s really good at that too. But there’s too many dead people in that one. Scorsese, I think.

Sex scenes in mainstream movies

Dallas
So Titanic, there are, of course, some sexually oriented scenes in that movie. And for a generation of people that represented something of a sexual awakening. Was there any mainstream movie or celebrity or something like that that represented to you a sort of sexual awakening?

Natasha
I mean, I’m a pervert. So I will see sex everywhere. I mean, if the actors and actresses are wearing cute clothes, I’m going to sexualize them. Um, but there was this movie that my neighbor and I watched when her dad was away. It was The Pianist.

Dallas

With Isabelle Huppert, the French movie?

Natasha
Yes, I think so. Well, there’s a scene and maybe this is why like big butts. But there’s a scene where they’re sleeping together. And he’s just like, grabs her. It’s like it’s shot from the side like they are on their sides on the bed. And then it’s shot over there from the side. So they’re just like her leg is wrapped around him. And to grab onto her he like grabs her big ass cheek and like you see like his handprint go in her big ass cheek and that to me was like so hot. And yeah, I like love that. I love man hand in cheek meat so since I was like 10 or something. But I just remember thinking it was really hot and it was really sexual. It’s not particularly Hollywood. You know what I mean? But like there’s nothing super exciting about it. It just looked real yeah.

[Editor’s note: the movie discussed here is The Piano (1993).]

All things French and France (including dirty talk examples)

Dallas

You were born in France, right? And you speak French, correct? So have you been able to have us shot scenes where you got to speak French dialogue? Have you shot scenes for French companies?

Natasha
I do, yeah! I have shot scenes for French companies, but I don’t think I spoke much French in them. I think when I shot for a company in France like five years ago, they had me playing an English-speaking role. But I’ve done some solo stuff in French on my OnlyFans. They definitely really like it. I know I really need to shoot with like Anissa Kate, I think, and do like a little French thing. I did shoot with–

Dallas
Oh, I’m trying to think who that is. Liza Del Sierra?

Natasha
Yes! I shot with her for Lansky, actually. Or we were on set together and fucked. I can’t remember, but we’ve talked and she’s really hot, the French actress.

Dallas

So if you shot a scene with Anissa Kate, say, for Dorcel — of course, Dorcel always does or usually does a dubbed version where they do the English would. Would you dub yourself, do you think? Or would it be weird to see yourself speaking in French dubbed in English by somebody else speaking that’s not you. Mind-twister there!

Natasha

Yeah, I don’t know if I’d want someone else’s voice doing my English. Why not just have me do it? But I’d rather it just be in French with like subtitles Because if you think French is sexy, you want to hear the French whether you understand it or not. I love hearing people talking in different languages. Yeah, I’ll just read the subtitles

Dallas

So what’s something really, really filthy in French that you can teach us here?

Natasha
Je veux que tu éjacules avec ton grosse bite sur mon cul. Means “I want you to come in my ass with your huge cock.”

Dallas

I speak a teeny bit of French — I actually understood most of that most of that so I’m proud of myself. [Laughs] There you go. So people are prepared now to have a little bit of French dirty talk, depending on the context.

Natasha
I mean, I can’t always whip it out in productions because they usually have a specific character that I’m playing and it’s not usually a French person. But I definitely can on my live webcams on OnlyFans. Fans just ask me I’ll just start speaking in French. Sometimes I do my JOI [jerk off instruction) countdowns in French, which I think is funny because they don’t understand what I’m saying. And they need to for a JOI countdown, but it’s pretty obvious.

Dallas

So JOI countdown — is that like countdown to like coming? Is that what that is?

Natasha

Yeah, so I’ve been telling them how to stroke their cock or whatever, and like, it’s time for them to bust all over my tits. And so they want a countdown, and a lot of times they ask for it in French. So I’m like, “Okay, I’m going to start you guys from 10.” And then I just start from 10. And I go dix, neuf, huit. But, I mean, they can figure that out for them. Kind of like make it more anticipatory towards the end, you know, present my boobs, so they know what it means.

Dallas

I know you’ve said in past interviews, in fact one of the interviews I think we did with you, that you love the city of Paris. What what are your favorite things about Paris?

First-time anal sex (with a stranger)

Natasha
I don’t know. I think just because I was born there. And I spent a few summers there as a kid. It’s just kind of like, it’s just where I’m from. So it’s just me, I guess. I don’t know. But it’s just like a really beautiful city. It just has an energy to it. There’s a lot going on. There’s a lot of bustle going on. There’s business, but there’s like, I don’t know — it’s just fucking beautiful. I love being there. Sure, I did have anal sex for the first time there with a stranger on the street.

Dallas

Oh, wow. Okay, I think we need to hear that story if you’re willing to tell it!

Natasha

Okay, so I was 17. And I was in Paris. And I had been hanging out with a friend that I went to school with in Los Angeles. And then she had to go back to her family gathering or whatever. So I leave her hotel, and I go for the subway, and I’m gonna go back to my grandma’s apartment that I had snuck out. And then I crossed this guy in this girl. And they’re maybe like 25 or 30. And they’re both drunk. And he’s walking to the bus station, but I guess they were just friends. Because he stops me when we pass each other on the street. And he just kind of starts flirting with me. And he was cute. And I was like, “I don’t understand. You’re with a girl.” And then it became clear that they were just friends. And he was walking her to the bus station.

So he grabs my number. And then I’m waiting for the subway and he texts me. He’s like, “why don’t you come drink with me?” And so I leave the subway. I’m like, “Okay, fuck it.” And then I go hang out with him. We have a couple drinks in his apartment. And then he was so cute. He was like, charming and drunk. So he was funny. And I don’t know — we just started fucking and then he just went to put it in my ass. And I was like, I don’t know, I didn’t hesitate at all. So yeah we went slowly and I was just kind of like oh, okay, whatever!

Dallas

There you go! I think that could be a Dorcel scene right there. I think you should make the pitch for that, a dramatic rendering.

Natasha
Maybe, yeah! I wish like that would happen again. You know, just like meet a stranger on the street and then just like five minutes later, it’s on.

Dallas

Do you think that that kind of spontaneity, due to COVID and just the way the world has changed, doesn’t really happen anymore?

Natasha
I’ve just become more — I don’t know — less risky or something. I don’t know. And I get so much sex at my job that I don’t always think to have sex otherwise. And if I do I just call someone from work because I know that they’re good for it. But yeah, I’ve actually made it a point to have more sex in my personal life just because sometimes it just feels better.

No, I’m pretty hungry. Either way, once you put something in my pussy, I get very excited, very horny. I love putting my mouth on people. Love just rubbing all of my everything up against all of their everything and juices and getting messy and dirty and saying nasty shit and coming. Yeah, I’d say I’m even better off camera honestly. I don’t know if I look as good because I don’t really care about that in that instance, but I probably have a little bit more fun.

Pornstar interviews over the years

Dallas

That’s the tantalizing thought for your many viewers across the world, I’m sure. So how, if at all, have pornstar interviews changed over the years? I assume you’ve done quite a few in your career.

Natasha
Yeah, well, I was going to say this is actually a really good interview because I don’t feel like I’ve answered any of these questions before. Sometimes the interviews are kind of just the same. But I don’t know that they’ve changed much there. I mean, I guess maybe just like the medium through which we do them, like Skype or Zoom. Yeah, they’re pretty much same, I guess.

Dallas

So what’s the question that has come up the most?

What’s in a name?

Natasha
I’d say probably how I got my name. Well, Natasha was the sluttiest girl in my high school and I like looked up to her. I idolized her. Because she was so sexually free. And then my agent came up with the last name Nica because I have nice tits. So anytime I take my top off, guys go, “Nice!”

Dallas

Do you have to endure a lot of crazy “Nice” puns? Do you just get “Nice” puns all the time?

Natasha

Yeah, nice puns. Kind of like is she naughty, or is she nice? Like, obviously naughty. I just fucked five dudes up my ass that scene right there. I’m obviously naughty. But yeah, so it just depends on how the word “Nice” lands on them if it’s kind of like a nice girl next door because I do kind of have that vibe. Or if it’s more like “Nice, that was hot!”

Career what-ifs

Dallas

Some performers come to the industry later, when they’re in their 30s, say even late 20s. You of course shot your first scenes when you were relatively young, as you mentioned. Do you ever do the thought experiment of thinking okay, what if I had started in porn at 30 something instead of the age I did? How do you think your career would have been different? Do you think you could have done it that way?

Natasha
I don’t know that I’d want to. I’ve gotten to be who I am because I came in just kind of like gung ho just having fun, just a young girl being a little sexually rebellious and not really caring about the repercussions. And that’s kind of why people were like, “Oh, this girl’s legit.” She’s a straight up slut and we want her in our movie.” So I think when you’re older, you’re a little bit more reserved, and you’re a little bit more picky.

Dallas

What would be your biggest piece of advice to your younger self just starting out in porn?

Natasha
Stop drinking and go to bed on time. I was just such a little fucking wild animal. I was like, “Yeah, I’m out of the house. I’m going to fucking do whatever I want to do.” But self-care is so, so fucking important and the camera captures it. So definitely, you little 18-year-old whore, drink water and use sunscreen and stay away from drugs as long as you can.

Habits and routines

Dallas

So do you now go to bed relatively early? What’s the usual go-to-bed time for Natasha Nice these days?

Natasha
Well, if I have seen scheduled [to shoot], yes, I’ll go to bed early. I do my little checklist. I pack my shit, get my nails done, is my hair good. Everything needs to be perfect. I’m going to bed at this time because I need to wake up at this time to be there by then. Blah blah. But if I’m not working — like this week, I’m not, because I’ve taken a couple months off for the summer, but I’ve been going to bed at like 2 a.m. just watching Stranger Things and then waking up at like noon.

Binge-watch choices

Dallas

So what are some other things that you like to binge? You mentioned Stranger Things there.

Natasha
I don’t know. That’s a good question. I don’t know. I am a pretty big fan of The Big Bang Theory. I’ll watch like classic movies or movies that I’ve already seen.

Pornstar multitasking

Dallas

My sense is that the modern pornstar has to be pretty good at multitasking. Are you good at multitasking? And do you like multitasking?

Natasha

Well, it definitely helps to have a little bit of help, like domestic duties, you know. They crop up every hour of every day. So I have a lot of help with those kinds of things.

And then when it comes to like content creation, you do wear many hats. You film it, you light it, you edit it, you promote it, upload it, describe it and all that shit. Yeah, I definitely do pretty much everything myself. I have an agent who books things for me. And I have a publicist who puts me in contact with interview opportunities and stuff. But for everything else career-related, like social media or wardrobe, or obviously self-care, and then anything content creation, that’s all me.

Every day is different. I was kind of chasing the perfect schedule for a while. Like, every Tuesday, I’m going make content and every Thursday I’m going to webcam, but you kind of just have to take it day by day. It’s actually a very spontaneous job. Because one day you think you’re going to webcam. And then your agent says, “Hey, somebody canceled — do you want to shoot for Brazzers?” And you’re like, yeah, so you drop the camming and you go to LA and and then you have to move the camming to another day, but maybe you have to work out that day or whatever.

So it’s kind of spontaneous and you just kind of have to take it as it comes. And then when you have that free time, you tie up all the loose ends and it works. Just don’t drop the ball.

Co-stars past and present

Dallas

You did an interview a few years ago. It was More With Moe with Moe Reese, a podcast interview, which is a fun one, incidentally. I recommend people check that one out. But in the middle of that interview, you realize that you had shot a scene with him but that you didn’t immediately remember that that had happened. Does that happen a lot where you will run into somebody, and you’re like, “Oh, yeah, we did shoot a scene!” Given that you’ve shot a lot of content over the years.

Natasha

Yeah, so like lately, some of the non-porn people I’ve been talking to, they keep bringing up Owen Gray. And every time someone brings up Owen Gray, I’m like, “Did I fuck Owen Gray? I have no idea.” You might actually know better than I would since you seem to do your research. But I don’t. I have no idea. There are a ton of people. I don’t know if we’ve talked or not. I would like to. But yeah, I mean, it just happens. It’s like you can’t remember every single person that was on set that happens to where I’m just like, “Did we fuck?” And it’s like, “No, I’m just part of the crew.”

Getting recognized in public

Dallas

On the flip side, I’m sure you must have it happen sometimes where somebody will recognize you in public, but they’re not quite sure where [from]. And they probably think you went to their high school or that you were in a movie, like a mainstream movie. And then it dawns on them that you’re a pornstar — are they like slightly embarrassed? Is there a shift? Does that happen?

Natasha

You know, it takes a minute for them to realize that and then here I am right in the flesh. And that’s just always funny to me. I think they put it together later when they are alone with themselves. Yeah, but a lot of times people will think that they went to school with me. I’ve gotten that one a lot. And like, “Did you go to blah, blah, blah, blah?”

Dallas

So you’re not ever tempted to just say, “Yeah, you know me from adult movies. I’m Natasha Nice.”

Natasha
I want them to come up on it themselves. And then if they want to talk to me about it, they can talk to me about it.

Dallas

Are there people who have like suddenly clicked and they have said to you, “Oh, yeah, you’re you’re the adult star. I remember now!” and are upfront about remembering?

Natasha
No, I’m I kind of sense sometimes that they figured it out before I’ve walked away. But they don’t say anything. I think it’s still their brains are still trying to catch up to how casual of a conversation we’re having

Dallas

Do you think we as a society can ever get to the point where people won’t be embarrassed to admit that? Because obviously if you were someone who appeared in a mainstream program or something like that, and they realized, they would probably say, “Oh yeah, you’re you’re on show X that I’ve seen on NBC” or whatever. Do you think we can ever get to the point where people aren’t embarrassed to just say, “Hey, yeah, I know you from adult movies.”

Natasha
Yeah, I think it also just depends on like the person and maybe they’re not necessarily embarrassed, because I’m coming at them so casually, like I’m their frickin neighbor, they’re not entirely sure that that they can go to that headspace. That’s a sexual place. Because usually, the way we interact with people in an elevator is not how we interact with them when we’re jacking off or masturbating. So it’s just like two separate little corners in the mind that don’t usually mix. So I would hope that my fans totally feel okay to be like, “Hey, are you Natasha, I’m a fan!” or whatever. But at the same time, it’s kind of just up to their comfort level. And we have so much progress to do on people’s embarrassments and fears on sex. I probably will be dead by the time we get there. Yeah, like, we’ll just all it’ll be a different generation people write in your journals, not that big of a deal.

Talking nerdy: philosophy and more

Dallas

A lot of pornstars have a hidden or not-so-hidden nerdy side. Do you do you yourself have a nerdy side? What do you nerd out over?

Natasha
I’ve always liked sciences like, and I’ve always been good at math. I took a break from porn and did computer science for a little bit. I’m still thinking about going to finish for my degree in math. That’s kind of it. I’ve always liked math and philosophy. Those are just kind of the topics that I really like, dive into. I like to think about things and pick them apart and figure out how true they are, how valid they are, and how much it’s just biases or context or whatever.

Dallas

And of course, France has a great philosophical tradition so you fit right in with that with your nationality.

Natasha
Yeah, yeah, I’m just very inquisitive, kind of a contrarian. I don’t like to just accept things as true just because everybody’s saying them. So I’m working on it. I’m working on being more agreeable. But it’s just not my nature. I’m just the curious type.

Dallas

Are there any specific philosophers or writers that you particularly like? Or is it just more of a general approach that you take to things?

Natasha
I’ve always liked a philosopher — he was a mathematician and a humanitarian. His name was Bertrand Russell. He wrote The Conquest of Happiness, and wrote a lot of really good essays that just really spoke to me in my 20s, and I’ve just kind of kind of adopted those to my personal philosophies.

Dallas

It always struck me as somewhat unfortunate that philosophers in general haven’t tackled pornography specifically because it is such an interesting and rich subject.

Natasha
Well, there’s John Stuart Mill. He wrote an essay called “On Liberty.” It’s actually one of the reasons why I came back to porn, because at the time, my family was shaming that decision, and I thought I was never going to go back. And then I read it. And I was like, “Okay, fuck you guys. I’m going back to porn.” Anyways, I found it at SFSU when I was studying up there. And he talks about basically just individual freedoms, and how, as long as we’re not fucking over people, then it’s all good. It’s all fair game. And so kind of some of his arguments and philosophies have been used in essays about porn. There’s one on stanford.encyclopedia.edu or something. And it’s a defense for pornography. And it utilizes a lot of Mill’s arguments from “On Liberty.” I can send it to you if you want. I used to geek out over that. I was like, “I’m going to write an essay on this, but it’s already an essay anyways.” So they haven’t really, but I feel like as far as I know, all of the greatest philosophers are already dead and porn kind of just came around in the 70s. Really? Right. So we watch it now. So I don’t know if they really had the opportunity to. But I would definitely love to read that. Like some modern philosophers, because you know, there are some feminists out there in today’s day and age maybe they’re like 20 or 22 and they’re all for it.

Dallas

I think that some of the writings, historical writings, have applications, current applications, even if they obviously don’t directly correspond to the subject matter. Or even some contemporary philosophers Judith Butler — I know Gender Trouble is one that I’m sure has as applications the industry, but yeah, and that essay that you were talking about, you should definitely write that. I think that that would be interesting.

Natasha

Yeah, my problem is that I get really angry. When I was to think about writing the essay, the pro-porn essay, your audience is essentially the anti-porn voices. Technically, it’s really the people who are on the fence, but you have to argue with the anti-porn arguments to win or not win, which I’d win because I’m like, oh my god, so smart. I’m just kidding. But I’ve thought about it so much in as unbiased of a way as I can because I come from a Christian upbringing so I definitely know a lot of their arguments. And I felt their reasons and some of them are valid. So I feel like I’d be pretty decent at being unbiased about it. But some of their arguments are just so ridiculous and inhumane and in the name of God that it’s really hard not to want to like fucking rip the pages apart.

Dallas
Hard to write when you’re ripping pages apart! You’re right. [Laughs] Well, I know we’re running short on time here, but I did want to give you a chance first of all to mention any awesome projects that you have coming up that you’d like to mention, and also to tell people where they can find you on social media and follow you and learn what you’re up to.

Natasha
Yeah, well, in the world of content creation things do kind of cancel sometimes. But I do have a lot of really sexy girls that I’m planning on shooting with for my OnlyFans, which is onlyfans.com/benicenatasha. And then I’m not currently on Instagram. Unless I get it back, but my Twitter @nenicenatasha and TikTok is Miss Natasha Nice. That one’s relatively new so it’s pretty small. And other than that, you can go to allmylinks.com/natashanice and that’s where all of my Pornhub profile Adult Time profile all that’s over there. My merch everything.

Dallas

There you go. And of course, people can go to adultempire.com. They can pop in your name and find all kinds of Natasha Nice action from that very first scene we were talking about. This has been awesome to chat with you. We really appreciate the time that you’ve taken today for us.
