AE Pulse Aug. 8: Celebrating Top Pornstars of the PULSE

What’s Hot: Pulse Rankings

While Adult Empire celebrates twenty-five years, the AE Pulse blog began at the start of 2016. The Pulse was created to provide rankings on the DVDs, VODs and the Pornstars featured on our website. The DVD and VOD rankings are determined each week determined by sales of each item, for the Unlimited rankings it is determined by the views of each movie. The pornstar rankings are determined by a complex algorithm based on a percentage of views to the pornstar page combined with sales of DVDs and VODs featuring the star. The Pulse has become a great resource for those in the adult industry by providing weekly rankings that is all determined by the customers shopping our website. This year the Pulse was combined with our other weekly resource “New and Notable” which showcases new material on all platforms and new studios on AE. Now the Pulse is the one stop information blog provided each Monday with all new stats.

This week in the Pulse we announce that Angela White dubbed by us as the “Queen of Porn” due to her dominance in the rankings has returned to number one Pornstar after her latest upset and tie with Gabbie Carter. I took a look at the Pulse statistics and looked back at Angela’s run at number one and wanted to provide some new details about her record breaking force. Angela has hit number one on (13) separate occasions in the Pulse. The first time she hit number one it lasted for (3) weeks, then (2) weeks, (2) weeks the third time, (1) week the fourth, (1) the fifth, (2) weeks on the sixth, (2) weeks on the seventh, (2) weeks on the eighth, (4) four weeks on the ninth time at number one. She was practicing on being number one when she made her break through on the (10) time and held on to number one for a record breaking (128) straight weeks. She gave up the throne for two weeks and returned for (14) weeks on her eleventh time giving it up to Gabbie the for the first time. She got back on top for (66) weeks on her twelfth run and lost a second time to Gabbie making this week her thirteenth time hitting number one. If you add together the total number weeks she has been at number one all these times it equals and astounding two hundred and twenty-eight weeks!

Hitting number one is a huge accomplishment especially when you look at how Angela has dominated it since the first time she hit, which was September 8, 2017. When the Pulse first began there were many other contenders for this top spot. Looking back at former top pornstars shows that Julia Ann was the dominating star before Angela hitting number one (11) different times for a total of (47) weeks. Another strong contender was Alexis Texas who made number one (14) different times for a total of (27) weeks. We also have some other big names who were regulars; August Ames hit (6) times for a total of (11) weeks. The notorious Stormy Daniels hit (4) times for a total of (8) weeks, Jessie Jane hit (5) times for a total of (7) weeks. Kendra Sutherland hit (3) times and Sunny Leone hit (1) time for (6) weeks each star. Three stars have tied for a total of (4) weeks each; they are Gabbie Carter hit (2) times, Riley Reid hit (2) times and Kendra Lust also hit (2) times. Mia Khalifa hit (2) times for a total of (3) weeks. There are five different stars who got the top spot for (2) total weeks; they were Dillion Harper hit (2) times, then Jessica Drake, Joanie Laurer (Chyna), Skylar Vox and Valentina Nappi each hit (1) but lasted two weeks. Now for the one-offs the list becomes even more interesting as fifteen different stars hit the spotlight for just one week since 2016. This list includes Jillian Janson, Katrina Jade, Kylie Page, Eva Lovia, Reagan Foxx, Anna Belle Peaks, Natasha Nice, Veronica Vain, Dani Daniels, Remy LaCroix, Jayden James, Nicole Aniston, Ava Addams, Peta Jensen and Keisha Grey. Some of you that have only been following the Pulse for the past three years may be surprised to see how many girls have made number one.
