When a series runs all the way up to 158 installments, it’s hard to imagine where to begin. The Gardener
B. Skow‘s content from Girlfriends Films makes for interesting counter-programming to the company’s best-known movies. In contrast with series like Women Seeking Women or Lesbian Seductions, which play mostly on familiar formulas and performer chemistry, The Gardener (and other Skow movies like it) bring a character- and plot-driven sensibility to the action. The story centers on Amanda (Jessie Andrews), a naive young woman who is imprisoned in a garden of almost Biblical and mythical beauty, a place where her sexual longings will be explored in ways she never could have imagined. The Gardener is particularly notable for featuring Andrews’s first anal scene. “It was also important to have the main character do anal because I really wanted to show how she was mentally tortured. Jessie had never done anal and I brought the project to her and she liked the idea of doing anal for the first time in a feature, so we made it happen,” said Skow of the scene. Road Queen 31
If you hit the road with a full tank, an open mind, and glint in your eye, you’re always going to find a good time. That’s precisely what Deauxma‘s character discovered in this long-running series that found her traveling the country (in trademark magenta sports car) seeking “a few good women.” She ran across all that and more in 35 installments of sexy lesbian fun. Though the series wrapped up in 2016, it’s fun to browse through Road Queen‘s remarkable run over the years as Deauxma blossoms into the most quintessential of MILFs. It’s hard to go wrong with any edition of the series, but Vol. 31 presents a particularly appealing rundown of co-stars, including the now-retired Siri in a redhead-meets-redhead scene with Bree Daniels. Get your motor running!
