‘Boogie Nights’ House Goes Up for Sale

Earlier this year, the Playboy Mansion was put on the market. If you were looking for new digs with a saucy history and missed out on Hefner’s former playground, your next opportunity may have arrived. The house that played the role of porn director Jack Horner’s home in Boogie Nights is up for sale!

Listed at $1.5 million, the house boasts four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a large swimming pool, and a boatload of history thanks to Paul Thomas Anderson‘s 1997 movie. Numerous memorable scenes from the film, which went inside the porn world of ’70s and ’80s, took place in the house, including the cuckold sequence featuring Nina Hartley. (Hartley and several other pornstars moonlighted as Hollywood actors to play porn performers in the movie.)

The house’s listing makes a very hard-sell pitch: “Huge living room with vaulted wood-beam ceiling and lots of windows to overlooking the view and mountains. Large master suite. Private backyard beautiful landscaped w/pool, patio and room for basketball court, guest house, tennis court and more. 3 car garage attached and lots of RV Parking spaces. Upscale neighborhood. Walking distance to schools, golf course, country club and park. South Hills schools. HORSE PROPERTY. It is truly special home and worlds cannot describe it. Must see!!! Entertainers delight!!!” Interestingly, at no point does the listing mention the house’s Hollywood history. Eagle-eyed porn viewers might notice that certain houses crop up again and again in adult movies — we have to wonder how much those (often very chic) houses would fetch!
