Exxxotica 2024 – A Cherry was Popped!
Exxxotica 2024 in Edison New Jersey was my very first time at Exxxotica, or any industry show or function for that matter, and it did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in you understand and get a feel for why it’s the greatest show in the universe. The food, staff, overall organization, and safety are the least of your worries, but I know what you really want so let’s get to it. There were more than a few moments I had to remind myself I was there to conduct interviews and not completely fan the fuck out, but it was definitely hard. Getting there early is key for media, but just walking past the booths and reading the star names, imagining how they’d set up their tables, was an awe moment for me. I mean, when you read Stormy Daniels, Lisa Ann, Tera Patrick, and Lexi Luna in a row how can you not geek out!? The word legend doesn’t even do them justice at this point and believe me when I tell you that was only the beginning.
As performers and fans began to pour in so did my nerves. The show was starting and after taking it all in for a few minutes it was time to talk to some stars. While we walked the floor looking for our first interview I could feel the energy begin to change. It was a mix of getting down to work and party with a rock star if that makes sense. Music was blasting from the convention center speakers, performers had music playing from their booths, and everyone appeared to be in a good mood. Fortunately for me Aubrey Kate was at her booth ready to go (gotta love an early bird!) and she was incredibly professional. I’ve done written interviews and podcasts before, but Aubrey is the first star I’ve ever spoken to in person at a live event and I couldn’t have been more thankful. She patiently stood by as I stumbled through my list of questions and her answers were so thoughtful and sincere that I could have stayed and talked with her for hours. It was at that moment that I truly understood what these amazing performers bring to the table and how impactful they are. A fire was lit under my ass, and while the nerves were definitely still there, I walked away from that interview with Aubrey with one goal: help showcase to people all around the world how truly amazing our adult entertainers are. With that in mind, I started to find my groove and things got extra fun!
I could write a book on all the awesome moments I had starting with Aubrey, but I’ll save you my literary discourse and spoiler alerts. What I will tell you is that you don’t want to miss these videos! If you don’t know Addis Fouche you will after this. Her energy is perfect, her drive is unmatched and she’s wise beyond her years. Lexi Luna filled us in on what’s been going on with her and she’s even sweeter than everyone says. Kiki Klout came dressed as a dead ex-wife and clued us in on a few projects we can expect in the future, and Taylor Gunner gave great advice from career changes to being open and honest with your family about your profession. Her military and Halloween vibes came together brilliantly and down to earth doesn’t even begin to explain how easy she was to talk to. Interview after interview I learned so much, had great conversations, and felt like I grew closer to the women I watch and research daily. I had the opportunity to get in the minds of all-stars like Joanna Angel, Lauren Phillips, Spencer Bradley, Katie Kush, and Kenzie Taylor to name a few! April O’Neil shared an amazing moment with me off camera, giving me pet advice after the loss of her dog that will forever live in my heart, and I think it’s safe to say our goal was reached. I had a blast every step of the way and the stars are the highlight without a doubt.

The atmosphere felt very much like friends and family, and I think the stars would agree that none of that is possible without the fans. Attendance was crazy as the place was jammed pack by 5pm every night, people were respectful, knowledgeable, came with plenty of cash to spend, and definitely spread the love based on the various lines I saw forming throughout the night. I had a lot of conversations with people who love Adult Empire, love the porn industry, and love the stars that bring their fantasies to life. I was called an Exxxotica Virgin more times than I can count (a badge I wore proudly and am happy to shed), got a lot of new and cool perspectives on issues surrounding porn and politics, and ultimately felt like I was finally with my people. Exxxotica 2024 New Jersey was a real one and if you haven’t been yet definitely put it on your bucket list.
