An Interview With ‘Huge Boob Hound’ Host Peter McClane
If a university ever launches a PhD program in big-boob studies, Peter McClane would be the department chair, champion alumnus, and leading scholar. He’s the creator of the Huge Boob Hound X and YouTube accounts, which are home to the Huge Boob Corner, McClane’s series of in-depth interviews with big-breasted pornstars and models. Anyone who loves boobs this much is a true bosom buddy of Adult Empire, so we decided to chat with McClane about his signature passion and much, much more.
Adult Empire: Tell us about your background.
Peter McClane: I grew up in Southern California. I graduated college with a degree in acting, intending to pursue a Hollywood career. Over the years, I dabbled in adult work, but nothing too noteworthy. However, I did make friends in the industry, which kept me close to it. I created The Huge Boob Hound account on Twitter back in 2012, which became the first step of this journey.
Entire books have been written about society’s fixation on big breasts. Why do you think boobs are such a cultural obsession?
It’s difficult trying to interpret a cultural obsession, but I think boobs, especially large breasts, elicit very strong reactions from people, good and bad. For the people that love them, like me, there is an automatic desire and attraction to a very busty woman. I think huge boobs also represent a kind of hyper-femininity or strong sexuality to many people. People will go crazy over a celebrity showing lots of cleavage, which proves how powerful they can be!
When did you realize your own passion for all things boobs?
I’ve loved huge boobs for a very long time. I found myself drawn to busty women from a young age. The first time I saw Anna Nicole Smith in Playboy, I was hooked!
Similarly, who was your first big-boob crush?
My earliest big boob crushes were Anna Nicole Smith, Pam Grier, and Adrienne Barbeau.
What is your favorite slang term for breasts (aside, of course, from “boobs”)?
My favorite slang term for boobs would be “boobies!” I know it’s not very creative, but it’s such a fun word to say! You can’t say boobies without smiling.
How did you get into the YouTube scene? How did you choose big boobs as your show’s focus?
When the idea of doing an interview show, featuring very busty women, came to me, I figured YouTube was the best platform for it. I wanted the show to have the largest audience possible. And I chose to have my show focus on huge boobs because as a great lover of busty women, I wanted to do a show involving something I love. I also wanted to do something that, at the time, I saw no one else doing. I wanted to create a show where busty women could be themselves, showing more about who they are that people might not have realized.
Is there a story behind the show’s name?
I called my show The Huge Boob Corner because I thought it sounded friendly and cozy. I want my guests to feel comfortable and have a good time, talking about topics or subjects they really enjoy. I didn’t want the show’s name to be too sexual because not every guest wants to discuss
sex-based topics, and I don’t want people to feel like they have to talk about sex on the show.
What’s the key to a great interview?
I think the key to a great interview is having a strong rapport with the guest. Also, establishing a comfortable environment is important, too.
What kind of prep do you do for your interviews?
When prepping for an interview, I try to do a little research, by perusing social media or even Wikipedia. I always create an outline of notes, regarding what subjects we’ll be talking about, and what specific questions I will ask, that I have with me on the table, when doing an interview.
What have been some of your most memorable interview moments?
It’s tough to narrow down which individual moments stand out to me the most. Since the show is on YouTube, we can’t get too crazy. I will say there are specific guests that I find more memorable, but I’d rather not say which ones, so as not to inadvertently disparage or downplay other episodes.
Who is at the top of your all-time interviewee wish list?
I don’t really have that one interviewee that is at the top of my wish list. There are certainly some that I would absolutely love to have on the show, and I think would be amazing guests, like Angela White or Lisa Ann, but I’m grateful for every single person that comes on my show, and I get super excited for each one!
Who has surprised you the most in an interview?
I’d prefer not naming the person directly, because I wouldn’t want her to think I had a negative impression of her before the interview. I will say she surprised me the most because I went into that interview having no idea how it would go. I didn’t think it would go poorly, or she wouldn’t be a good guest, I just wasn’t sure how talkative she would be, but we ended up having a fantastic conversation!
Many podcast interviews are conducted via Zoom, but yours are mostly in a one-on-one studio setting. In what ways, big and small, does that most enhance the interview?
I think doing the interviews in person is very important in many ways. I think there is usually better chemistry in person, as well as a better conversational flow and energy. During COVID, when late night talk shows were doing Zoom interviews, they just didn’t have the same feel as when their guest would be in the studio. I also think it looks better visually, since my guest and myself are being filmed on the same type of camera.
Another advantage to doing the interview in person is there aren’t as many potential technical issues.
It’s probably very hard to narrow down, but what pornstars are in your pantheon of the greatest big-boob performers of all time?
This is definitely a very difficult question! I’ve had a few of the greatest big boob pornstars on my show, like Ava Devine, Ryan Conner, and Kayla Kleevage! I would also add ’90s legends Minka, Wendy Whoppers, Lisa Lipps, and Tiffany Towers! I would add some BBW performers, like Samantha 38G, Sapphire, and Sofia Rose! And of course, Angela White, Lisa Ann, and many others! To any I left out, please forgive me!
Similarly, name some of the best big-boob celebs/actors/musicians etc.
I’d say some of the best big-boob celebrities would be the aforementioned Anna Nicole Smith, Pam Grier and Adrienne Barbeau. I would also say Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara, Kat Dennings, Cardi B, Billie Eilish and of course Dolly Parton!
Numerous adult stars have taken their breast enhancements to remarkable extremes. Is there such a thing as too big, in your view?
To me, I wouldn’t say there is a clear threshold for boobs being “too big.” I think it’s on a case-by-case basis, depending on the person. I will say I haven’t found boobs that are too big for me yet!
What podcasts do you yourself listen to? Are there any porn industry or adult-oriented podcasts you enjoy the most?
I go in and out of listening to different podcasts. The one I’m currently into is called The Rewatchables, which is a film podcast. Next to boobs, films are my other major passion. As far as adult industry podcasts, I’m not currently listening to any, but I want to change that.
What are your porn pet peeves?
I don’t watch as much porn as I used to, but one thing that would really bother me would be bad acting. Bad acting is very difficult to watch, whether it’s in porn or mainstream, Hollywood films. And having been an actor myself, bad acting stands out more to me.
What’s next for you and for the Huge Boob Hound show?
As far as what’s next for me, I’m going to continue to focus on growing my show and brand! I also have plans to create new shows and more content in the future. This has been an amazing journey so far and I’m very excited to see where it goes from here.
