Adult Empire: Take us through a day in the life of Vanessa Vega? What’s your morning routine? What social media apps do you check first?
Vanessa Vega: I work best when I go with my natural flow of energy so I honestly kind of wake up and see what my mood is before I decide what to do. I would say I definitely check Twitter and Instagram first, and then my OnlyFans. My days differ so much that is hard to explain a typical day. I am either onset, editing, cleaning, shooting my own content, doing clerical work, or recovering.
You grew up performing in various dance genres. Do you still enjoy dancing? When was the last time you hit the stage?
Yes, so I actually did ballet and hula dancing! I was a stripper for almost eight years. I think the last time I was at the strip club was probably four months ago?
What was your first tattoo? Do you have a favorite?
My first tattoo was actually the pair of nautical stars on my pelvis. My favorite tattoo is probably my neck tattoo because of how painful it was.
The fact that your first scene was an Aziani five-guy creampie gangbang is beyond impressive! Why did you decide to come out with such a big splash as opposed to the more generic stuff we see with newbies? How did you prepare for it?
So I was encouraged to do more intense scenes in the opening of my career to kind of “prove” myself. I will say though it honestly was probably the best first scene to do because I was a swinger before I got into the industry and I was basically getting gangbanged at sex clubs, so I was completely comfortable.
Do you have a preference when it comes to filming independently versus with major studios?
If I had to choose to only shoot onset or content for the rest of my life, I would choose studio work. There’s something incredibly hot about being on set that really does it for me.
Are there any stars you’d like to work with?
I met Jmac but didn’t get to work with him- I want to be put into the full Nelson so desperately!
What was it like working with Rusty Nails in Shoplifting MILFs 3? How did you prepare for your role as a MILF? What do you enjoy about that label?
Honestly, that shoplifting scene is probably one of my top five favorite. I am extremely into CNC [consensual non-consent] and the ability to fully let myself get into tears was an awesome experience. I honestly didn’t have to prepare much. I was super excited and in between every take, I was telling them how happy I was to be there.
Over your five years in the business, how have you seen the industry evolve since you started? In what ways do you think more change is needed?
In my short, five years being in this business, I have seen a huge increase in social media influencers joining the business. I’ve heard from people who have been in it way longer than me that it has drastically changed the landscape of this business. Personally, I think the thing that needs to change most about this industry is just the public perception. If we could get past having to fight for our legal status what seems like on a daily basis I feel like we could focus a lot more on moving forward as an industry.
What are some things people looking to join the adult entertainment industry need to know?
This will always be my answer to this question- There is no handholding or rulebook in this business. If you don’t have very strong sense of what’s right and wrong and what you will and will not do you will be swallowed alive. You need to have very strong boundaries in this business.
If you weren’t a pornstar what would you be doing?
If I weren’t in porn, I 100% would still be a stripper. I would probably be in school for fashion actually simultaneously.
What’s one thing all your fans should know about you?
That I love what I do- I think one of my favorite things to do is go back and watch my reactions in videos that I’ve been in. I am Incapable of hiding my feelings, and I think that makes for very vulnerable passionate sex.
