‘Explicit Acts’ Debuts on DVD
Slayed knocks ’em dead.
The new all-girl/lesbian brand from Vixen Media Group, the makers of Blacked and Tushy, had another instant success on their hands when Slayed debuted last year. While there is certainly no shortage of lesbian erotica, Slayed sought to put its own spin on the much-loved genre. In its VOD incarnation, the debut movie, Explicit Acts, was featured in the Adult Empire Blog’s “New & Notable,” “Best Porn Scenes,” and “Take Five” series. The video is now making its debut on DVD!
“It was important for me to create an environment on set where the talent felt they could be their true, uninhibited selves. This brand is all about self-awareness and expression, so capturing that to share with the audience is an amazing feeling,” director Laurent Sky told AVN at the time of the label’s launch. “From the unique macro shots to the richness of the lingerie, accessories, and locations—it’s really an indulgent experience for viewers, like nothing else I’ve seen before. I am extremely proud of what we have created.”
The movie and series don’t compromise on explicitness, either. As Adult Empire blogger Jackie Daytona aptly noted, “It’s hard to tell at those points if I’m watching a nature documentary or the hottest fucking porno I’ve ever seen. Of course, when it cuts again and I see Emily Willis’s tongue stuck inside Vanna Bardot, I know which one it is.”
