The star whom director Holly Randall dubbed the “new queen of anal” had to start somewhere! In this edition of “Her First Scene,” we go back to Jane Wilde‘s first studio shoot.

How: This native of Queens, New York became destined for porn stardom when she discovered her sexual side! In an interview with Captain Jack of Adult DVD Talk, she noted that she’d been adventurous in her pre-porn days: threesomes, numerous partners, and a thirst for all things sexual. Her initial foray in the adult industry came in camming, after which she decided to embark on a full-fledged porn career. Thus it was a time for a trip to sunny Florida and a newbie shoot with Reality Kings!
Trivia: Her first scene partner, Seth Gamble, later became one of her very most frequent onscreen co-stars. In fact, Wilde jokingly referred to him as her “porn husband” in a 2019 interview with Holly Randall.
Quotable: “I think I was just excited and I knew I was capable of performing well enough that I wouldn’t look like a fool. I felt excited because I hadn’t had sex, at that point, in five months . . . Overall, it just felt very natural to be in front of the camera and have crew members looking at me.” (Wilde on shooting the scene, as quoted by Adult DVD Talk)
Observations: Wilde’s look is considerably different from the brunette we’ve come to know and love in movies like Jane’s Anal Addiction. Her long blond locks give her the look of a California cutie who is craving a wild and crazy time! (Indeed, at the outset, she mentions coming all the way from Malibu.) Her brief intro interview sets the table for some of the traits that would power her to stardom, including her self-professed passion “being the center of attention.” Gamble’s disarming humor and charm clearly put Wilde at ease from the start, but she holds her own throughout. The scene itself is a simple, stark casting-couch scenario devoid of any distractions, allowing Wilde to take the spotlight. While Wilde herself told Adult DVD Talk that she had certain misgivings about her performance in the scenes (“I had trouble not looking into the camera”), these issues are certainly not evident to the casual viewer!
