On Twitter, Riley Steele aptly describes herself as “your favorite distraction.” Her performances have remained compulsively watchable throughout a career studded with highlights. We were pleased to catch up with this fan favorite in a new interview!

Give us a little back story about how you got involved in the adult industry.

I grew up idolizing women like Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson . . . when I discovered the E True Hollywood Story of Jenna Jameson I knew that’s what I wanted to be . . . then Digital Playground came around and my dream was to become a DP girl and I never wanted to be anything else lol

How did you come up with your stage name?

We were throwing names around at my first meeting with [director] Joone I always like girl names that could be boy names and I had a little list I had been making I showed them some names but they loved Riley the most and Joone’s wife came up with Steele.

Tell us about working with director Kayden Kross in Cuckold’s Plight for Deeper.

It’s always amazing shooting for Kayden. She is so professional and when you work with her you understand why she keeps winning all the awards. She is really gifted and definitely sets the standard when it comes to top quality.

Are there any performers or directors that stand out in your mind that you’d love to get the chance to work with?

I would love to get to do a gangbang and maybe DP . . . those are things I’ve never done so before I leave I’d like to get those sexual fantasies out first 😉 I think Mason does an amazing job capturing girls in those types of scenes.

The Pirates movies are always at the top of our bestsellers list. What do you recall most from filming that movie?

Lol the first time I was at Blockbuster with my dad and it was on the shelf I was so excited, but he just shook his head and walked the other way haha! I don’t think he would have been as supportive if I wasn’t with a company like DP.

You’ve landed the cover of MANY movies – do you have a favorite box cover that you’ve appeared on?

Do you like being a contract star or would you rather have the ability to film with any studio?

I loved being a contract star when I was a contract star I feel like that was “the contact star time” so I loved having the option to finally shoot for companies like Evil Angel and shoot more hardcore scenes.

Is there anything you haven’t done on camera but would love the chance to?

Gangbangs!!!

Do you have a favorite sex toy?

My Hitachi is a no-miss hit, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by a lot of these new little clit vibrators and how strong they can get !! I only like real dick going inside me lol

How have you seen the industry change from when you first joined?

It’s definitely changed a lot. I feel like the big production movies don’t happen very often anymore, which I miss because it’s fun to be on set with a crew for a week or so even though the hours can be long, even 24 hour days. But it’s fun.

What do you see as the biggest challenges facing the industry today?

I think the industry is actually coming back. I only shoot for my Only Fans these days, but I hear that a lot of shoots are happening and people seem to be getting a lot of work. We all had a lot to overcome after COVID so things may take a while till full swing is back in motion.

What do you value most in a co-star?

Cleanliness 😜 and someone who will take control someone with a lot of passion .. passion is fire!

If you could give one piece of advice to someone looking to join the industry, what would that be?

Go slow and don’t do anything you’re not comfortable with.

Do people recognize you in public? Do you have any crazy fan stories?

Actually the guy that usually delivers to me just did! It was so sweet. He was nervous, but he was saying how when he was 18 he subscribed to Digital Playground and I guess I helped him over a hard break up .. love it!! But normally, no. I am always dressed in a hat and baggy sweats I don’t like to draw attention to myself in real life.

Tell us about a typical day for you.

A typical day .. I love waking up as early as I can do my little morning stretches take care of my pets .. get myself ready to shoot customs for the day I try to knock out 3-4 per day then get a workout in or go tanning and I’m showered and ready for bed by 7pm lol!! I’m a homebody.

Do you recall the first time you became familiar with the Adult Empire brand?

Yes, I was just signed with Digital Playground and you guys were one of my first interviews I believe 🙂

What can your fans expect to see from you over the next few months?

Lots of holiday updates. I’m going to be working with a lot of new girls towards the end of the year and I think next year I may get back into shooting. Hopefully I can get my gangbang. 😉
