Jasmine Jae Interview: Britain’s Busty Beauty
Britain has been home to some of porn’s most legendary talent, including busty beauty Jasmine Jae! In this new interview, we chat with this famous pornstar about her biggest movies, her favorite co-stars, her go-to sex toys, and more.
For those who may not know the story, how did you get into the industry?
I met Keiran Lee through a mutual friend and he offered me a scene with Brazzers. I was bored of my 9-5 managerial office position and thought why not! Nearly a decade on and I haven’t looked back since!
Compare and contrast working with European & British studios versus working with American studios.
The American studios tend to be bigger budget, more scripted, bigger sets, bigger casts, customized outfits etc. I absolutely love shooting for them!
Which porn genres do you most enjoy shooting?
I love them all; from the glam style, to the role plays and gonzo. I love the variety the industry gives me! That’s one of the things I embrace, that each day is different.
In what ways has being a pornstar expanded or changed your own personal sexuality?
It hasn’t really changed it at all. I was always adventurous and wild! I dabbled in swinging relationships, lesbian relationships, and had had threesomes, orgies and more before I was even in the industry.
What do you make of Britain’s on-again, off-again efforts to make an “opt-in” ban on porn?
I don’t know much about it, but I think in principle, if it protects those who are vulnerable, then it has complete validity.
Take us behind the scenes of your 2017 showcase Jasmine Jae: No Holes Barred.
I absolutely loved filming this showcase. I’ve always admired Jonni Darkko’s work and it was such an honour to be selected for a showcase. The outfits, make up and scenes are still some of my favourite. It was my first double anal too so will always have a special place in my Porn heart.
Of all your scenes and movies, which ones do you think have most resonated with fans?
I think my first scene for Fake Taxi (the girl in the blue dress) is probably still my most popular video of all time, even though it was shot in 2013! I believe that it’s still the most viewed of the site too. Fans always talk about this scene with me. They also love my Brazzers scenes.
What ways have you seen the industry change through the years? Both good and bad.
The industry has shrunk a lot in the U.K. since I started, very few mainstream companies exist here now. On the flip side, platforms such as Only Fans have changed the landscape and it’s great to see so many performers filming and owning their own content.
If you could select one person to co-star with you in a movie, who would it be?
That’s such a difficult question! I think I’d have to say Angela White – I’ve always wanted to work with her and she has always been lovely when I’ve met her.
Do you have a favorite sex toy?
That’s easy! My magic wand plug in vibrator!
What’s something you are nostalgic about? (Movie, book, song, time period, etc.)
I’m not a very nostalgic person, I’m always looking forward, never to the past.
Tell us about the directorial career you’ve embarked upon with Harmony Films.
I’ve directed four movies so far. I absolutely love it. Having been a performer for so many years, it’s great to put that knowledge and experience from being in front of the camera to good use behind the camera. It’s so rewarding to see my name on the box cover and I’m excited to continue directing for them.
What are your plans for 2021 and beyond?
To continue creating my own content for Only Fans, directing/performing for Harmony Films and performing for other big mainstream studio names. If the borders open, I’ll be back over The Pond to the USA too!
Do you recall the first time you heard about Adult Empire?
Adult Empire was one of the first websites I came across where I could find all my DVDs. I still check it regularly now to see if there are any new compilations coming out. I think it definitely has the widest range available.
