When award time rolls around, stars like Riley Reid generally have plenty to celebrate. 2015:
Adult Empire AVN Correspondent Kayla-Jane Danger: What are you nominated for this year, darling?
Riley: I’m nominated for Female Performer of the Year
Kayla-Jane: Of course!
Riley: And I’m also nominated for an oral scene for Jonni Darkko, and also my boy/girl/girl scene with Sara Luvv and Manuel Ferrara is nominated.
Kayla-Jane: I like how you say that with this sweet, loving look in your eye, while you’re talking about this boy/girl/girl scene. Aw, so sweet! So much love!
2016:
Kayla-Jane: Yay, yay, yay! Wee see you again! Female Performer of the Year! Oh, my goodness!
Riley: Holy moly, guys! I think I’m drunk off of winning awards. Is that a thing?
Kayla-Jane: That is a thing! That is a thing! You’ll realize it, and then it’ll hit you, and you’ll be like, “Holy shit!”
Riley: I feel that right now! It’s kicking in!
Kayla-Jane: Is it a fantastic feeling?
Riley: It’s fucking incredible! I don’t even know what to say anymore. I’m so thankful to everyone who even made this happen. Like, thank you! Jesus!
Kayla-Jane: I have to say it was one of the most amazing acceptance speeches I’ve heard, because it’s so fabulous to see a performer that loves her fellow performers so much. You clearly love working with them! And it’s just nice to see some respect from girls towards other girls in this industry. But obviously you do deserve this award, honey, and you won it for a reason, so celebrate! Party! Are you going to be wearing this dress all night while you party?
Riley: I mean, maybe? Maybe this dress, but not these shoes, girl!
Kayla-Jane: [Laughs] Sneakers! Converse! Do it! Congratulations, enjoy, and keep dancing. I know you’ve got a few more that you’re looking forward to. So keep your fingers crossed. There’s still more! You just go the best one!
Riley: Fuck, yeah, thank you!
2020:
Adult Empire AVN Correspondent Cherie DeVille: So, what are you up for, besides everything? No, really, everything! I’m joking, but I’m also not joking!
Riley: The ones that I have memorized–
Cherie: What are your favorite ones?
Riley: My favorite ones are Best Star Showcase–
Cherie: For the one that was in fucking Times Square? Shut the front fucking door!
Riley: I loved it! The I Am Riley movie is amazing. I’m very proud of that!
Cherie: Oh, I know it! I didn’t watch it seven times. [Shakes head jokingly]
Riley: Then there’s two scenes from my website that I got to direct that are nominated.
Cherie: Which ones? Which ones?
Riley: And that’s boy/girl/girl with Markus Dupree and Izzy Lush, and . . .
Cherie: I just interviewed her. She’s fucking hot!
Riley: I love her! We have such a good chemistry! She’s a very good friend of mine. So I was very happy to have her! And then I have Best Group Scene, also with Izzy Lush.
Cherie: Why have I not fucked her?
Riley: I don’t know!
Cherie: I interviewed her! I keep hearing her name.
Riley: I booked her only twice for my website, and both of those scenes got nominated for AVN Awards.
Cherie: Mm-hmm! Now, part of that is you, girl, but she is a little vixen. I can tell!
Riley: I have other scenes on my website. They are not nominated! They are not the only ones. Here she is!
