Misha Cross Podcast – Porn Adventures

Arguably one of the greatest Polish pornstars of all time, Misha Cross radiates a certain sultry European mystique. But on our Misha Cross podcast, we had the joy and privilege of unraveling some of that mystique.

Misha Cross is multi-talented; a true renaissance woman. She’s the director and star of the Evil Angel film ‘Elements’, but it was a long journey to that point.

Just as her career was truly taking off, the unhinged hammer of government bureaucracy came down like an iron fist.

“2015, January. I was coming back to the US, but I never really made it. I was returned at the airport. I was kept at the airport for two days and then they sent me back home.”

An apparent paperwork error had stopped her in her tracks, literally.

“I was banned for five years. It seemed like they were making it very very hard for me.” Naturally, this was devastating. “I cried for months after that. What am I going to do now?”

So like anyone destined for greatness, she bided her time and waited. It wouldn’t be until January 2020 when she was allowed to return to Uncle Sam’s Land Of Freedom. Still, she needed a plan for the meantime.

“I realized that I need to do something about it,” she recalled. So she began to shoot porn in Europe. But it’s not exactly the same in Europe, “in Europe when you win industry awards, no one gives a shit!”

“They don’t really want to book you anymore because they’re scared you’re too expensive! There’s a few companies like Brazzers or Dorcel who books famous talent, but there really aren’t as many career girls here.”

However, she was able to make due with her time in Europe, and eventually made her grand return to the states, coinciding with an AVN Award win for Elements.
