‘Riley Reyes on Porn’s Other Rileys’ (VIDEO)
If you were born in the 1990s, you probably know a ton of Michaels and Jessicas. Those were the most common baby names of that decade, according to government statistics, and as a result, many kids found themselves in classes with two or even three people sharing their name. In the adult industry, most stars pick a stage name, and certain names become just as trendy as popular child names of yore. “Riley” is certainly one of the most common choices: IAFD lists at least 121 female stars with a variation of “Riley” as a first or last name. In this clip, pornstar Riley Reyes discusses the abundance of stars who share her catchy first name.

Brittney: How did you come up with your name?
Riley: My name “Riley” was the name I had as a stripper when I was living in New York, and Reyes was just a pretty Spanish last name. Around the time I picked it, I was obsessed with everything Spanish. I was doing like a half hour to an hour a day trying to learn Spanish on my own in my free time, and I just thought it was really beautiful. People always ask me if I have any Latin heritage, and the fact is, I don’t. I have mostly German heritage. I just thought it was beautiful.
Brittney: Now there’s so many other Rileys in the industry. Does that ever cause confusion?
Riley: There are so many other Rileys! I didn’t really realize it going in. It was just my stripper name, and I liked it. And then I saw the landscape of Rileys around andfelt that I created a conflict of interests, but we just call each other by last name when we’re in a group. I would love to see an all-Riley scene. I would love to do a scene with Riley Nixon and Riley Reid and Riley Steele. I just want to do a Riley orgy.
Brittney: Who’s your favorite other Riley?
Riley: I’m closest to Riley Nixon. She’s a sweet girl with a big heart, and we get to hang out off set. And the other Rileys are in a different social circle, so I don’t know them very well. They’re just these beautiful angels I occasionally glimpse at industry events.
