As the calendar turns to November, the atmosphere becomes much more festive, as evidenced by the “fest” that opens this edition of “Best of the Sale”: Axel Braun’s MILF Fest 3. Legendary director Braun, known for his elaborate spoofs and cosplay parodies, keeps it simple in this one. The movie leads off in classy, classic fashion with Julia Ann, still looking very fetching at 50, who masturbates on a couch while some very quintessential porn jazz plays lustfully in the background. Tyler Nixon notices, stares, and begins pleasuring himself at the sight, an experience that is likely to be paralleled by all viewers of the movie. The J.O.B.
Released in 2016, The J.O.B. was something of a forerunner to Evil Angel’s recent documentary/porn hybrids, which have taken behind-the-scenes footage and mixed it with porn scenes. The main difference here is that The J.O.B. is essentially fiction, although it does focus on the same thread of looking at a performer’s dazzling star power off the set. Asa Akira plays a version of herself, right down to the detail that she’s the author of a saucy pornstar memoir (see Akira’s own Dirty Thirty and Insatiable). The pairing of two top-tier Wicked stars (Akira and Jessica Drake) makes for a killer movie in any circumstance, but The J.O.B.‘s creative storyline moves it to the top of the pack.

Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody
The inspiration for Barbarella, a 1968 sci-fi classic starring Jane Fonda, has largely fallen out of the popular consciousness, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make for excellent porn spoof fodder! Riley Steele is arguably even more of an overt bombshell than Fonda was in her prime, making this required watching even for those who aren’t fond of the porn parody genre. There are many surreal moments, including a bizarre sequence that finds Steele fellating a duo of men wearing what can only be described as Santa Claus suits. Oh, and keep an eye out for Tera Patrick in a rare post-retirement cameo appearance!
