The Rundown: ‘An Evening to Themselves’ (VOD Exclusive)

Girlsway, the acclaimed lesbian erotica brand from Gamma Entertainment, brings you three scenes from its Moms On Moms line. While numerous famous series have paired younger women with an older, experienced partner, Moms On Moms opts for the appealing option of two sexy, mature women joining together for a collision course with passion. An Evening to Themselves assembles three such scenes from Girlsway’s recent output, all enriched by the company’s usual attention to plot, character, and humor. Each sequence features a MILF character who finds that the only path to the truest and best pleasure is with another MILF just as experienced as she is.
Scene highlight
Sarah Vandella‘s character has had a rough time in life ever since her beautiful stepmother (Katie Morgan) died prematurely. Vandella herself is now struggling with the challenges of motherhood, meaning she is in desperate need of maternal advice. Fortunately, Morgan uploaded herself into a computer as a tactile hologram before she died. Vandella finally summons the courage to activate the program, bringing a holographic version of Morgan to “life” in front of her very eyes. After a tender reunion hug, Vandella admits that she always had romantic feelings toward Morgan. The sudden appearance of the tactile hologram presents an opportunity for Vandella to make good on her lust, but she has misgivings. Isn’t it “wrong”, she asks. “Oh, sweetie, I’m not flesh and blood. It’ll just feel that that way,” Morgan purrs as the two move in close to consummate their desires. Morgan’s baby-doll voice plays in effective to contrast to the maturity of her reassuring stepmom character, while Vandella conveys all the perfects hints of repressed naughtiness behind her eyes.
Cast
In addition to Morgan and Vandella, Girlsway assembles a typically sterling cast of mature performers, including Alexis Fawx and Serene Siren (paired in a romantically themed scene that inspired the movie’s title), and Lauren Phillips/Sovereign Syre (featured in a scene where Phillips’s confession about the true relationship she has with her stepdaughter sets off an affair with Syre).
Director’s chair
While many Girlsway movies are helmed by Bree Mills, each segment in An Evening to Themselves is directed by a different porn filmmaker: Joanna Angel (famed alt girl who has increased her forays into directing), Craven Moorehead (whose directorial credits go back more than two decades), and Billy Visual (a veteran of movies from Digital Playground, Fantasy Massage, and more).
Why we love it
Porn movies are adept at finding interesting psychological loopholes in order to make fetish and taboo content more palatable, but few studios are as skilled at this as Girlsway. Indeed, who else could conjure up the creative concept of a tactile hologram stepmom as a new wrinkle for the family roleplay genre? Even the music of the movie somehow slides the tone of the overall piece into artistic, agreeably off-kilter realm. Take spot-on casting and a winner of an overall theme (MILFs take on MILFs), and you’ve got another Girlsway must-watch.
