The Rundown: ‘Black Curves Ahead’ (VOD Exclusive)

Basics

Crave Media, makers of series such as Twisted Threesome Tales and ShopLyfter, turns its attention to ethnic porn with four up-and-coming performers. Divided into four actor-themed segments (some of which include multiple chapters that recreate a mini-movie all their own), the movie includes references to some of Crave’s most popular themes, including family roleplay (scene one’s stepdad/stepdaughter tryst featuring Nia Nacci), small-time crooks getting busted (scene two), casting-couch interviews (scene three), a few welcome hints of BDSM (scene one) . . . and, in an unexpected but welcome addition, miniature golf (scene four)!

Scene highlight(s)

Nia Nacci plays a sour, sassy stepdaughter who rebuffs her stepdad’s pleas for respect. She abandons her room in a frightful mess, leaving stepdad utterly aghast at her callous attitude toward cleanliness. (Viewers can even engage in a quick game of “Where’s Waldo” — or more accurately “Where’s Dildo?” — when they quickly scan Nacci’s messy room for the not-so-hidden dildo that’s stuffed in among the piles of clothes and garbage.) When she stomps into his bedroom without even asking, it’s a step too far for Dad. Building on her secret attraction to him, stepdad ties Nacci’s arms and lets her blow him, setting off a series of saucy sexual encounters. Nacci’s charm, which projects sex appeal even when she is flashing the most insolent of grump-stepdaughter glances, carries the day in this three-tiered scene.

Cast

Nia Nacci is probably the best known star in the movie’s cast, having appeared in high-profile movies for studios such as GirlGirl (Large Naturals), Nympho, Vixen, and more. Sommer Isabella, a relative newbie to the porn scene, also shines, thanks in part to an extended interview segment that helps us to get to know the star’s personality, likes and dislikes, and more. (You’ll discover her favorite foods, how she intends to spend her porn earnings, her attitude toward pets, plus many other tidbits.)

Why we love it

Most movies compile four scenes that use more or less the same formula in each, but Crave Media keeps the variety coming as this multi-hour porn extravaganza unfolds. You’ll find everything from point-of-view stepdad shenanigans to breezy interviews to shaky-cam “documentary” style footage to creative use of split screens (in scene three, which at times gives you multiple vantage points of the action with Sommer Isabella). Even as the movie stretches into its fourth hour, you’ll still find it possesses a freshness and vitality that is not easy to maintain in a movie of this length.
