Erotic materials have been around for thousands of years in many forms of art. In 1895 the first motion picture camera and people shortly began filming sex. The first recorded film was made in 1896 but the first american film would be made in 1915.
’70s Porn
Known as the golden age of porn, the 1970s brought a fresh view of sexuality and helped de-stigmatize the traditional view on sex. Before this time sex was a taboo subject and was largely taught to be used for only married couples and not to be discussed in civilized conversations. During this time special theaters popped up around the country that specialized in showing adult films.
It was also during this period the game changed when the VHS tape hit the market and made viewing these erotic films much easier to view in the comfort of your home and made great entertainment for all male parties. The ’70s gave birth to some of the biggest classics such as Debbie Does Dallas, Deep Throat, The Opening Of Misty Beethoven and Pretty Peaches. ’80s Porn
The 1980s were fueled by big hair, wild fashion trends and sex.
