Angela White’s Remarkable Run: A Year on Top
Summer 2018. The July 9 edition of AE Pulse (Adult Empire’s weekly tracker of popular stars and movies) revealed that Australian star Angela White had won the top pornstar ranking for the week. Business as usual, right? There was no way of knowing that this announcement would mark the beginning of a full year of White as Adult Empire’s most popular pornstar. Today marks 52 incredible weeks on top! To commemorate this record-breaking streak, we take a look back at milestones and highlights from our weekly Pulse reports, plus a video recap of some of the movies that made it all possible.
2016:
Fall: White makes the move to the United States, increasing her shooting schedule considerably.
2017:
AE Pulse Sept. 11: Angela White wins the top AE weekly pornstar ranking for the first time. “Angela White’s signature series of showcase movies is known for spotlighting a stream of impressive firsts. The Australian superstar has now collected another first, albeit in a different category: she won Adult Empire’s top-ranked pornstar spot for the very first time.”
2018:
AE Pulse July 2: The last week to date with a star other than White at number one. White had been on top for a month when a popular MILF overtook her for the top spot. Sept. 9: Angela By Darkko is released to much fanfare.
AE Pulse Oct. 1: Angela beats Julia Ann’s Pulse record. “It may only be the beginning of autumn, but it’s not too early for the pornstar rankings to be experiencing a full-on ‘White’out. Angela White marched to a 13th straight week as the top pornstar, eclipsing the Pulse record set by Julia Ann in 2016.”
AE Oct. 15: Angela hits an all-time Pulse record for any category. “Angela White surpassed all Pulse records by nailing down a 15th straight week as the top pornstar. No Pulse movie or star has ever seen a streak of such dimensions!”
AE Pulse Oct. 22: “Angela White was ranked number one, and if that surprises you, we have some Florida swampland we’d like to sell you.”
October 31: I Am Angela hits DVD, offering an inside look at Angela’s career via a porn/documentary hybrid.
AE Pulse Nov. 26: “It was blackjack for Angela White, who captured a 21st consecutive week as the top pornstar! When will it finally be bust for the busty Australian star? Not for a long time, in all likelihood, given the overwhelming popularity of her latest movies. “
Dec. 17: Adult Empire names Angela its inaugural Pornstar of the Year.

2019:
Jan.: White cleans up at the major awards shows once again.
