Flesh Hunter
Flesh Hunter is the Rosetta Stone of Jules Jordan Video movies: the reference point and the seminal effort from which all other efforts in the line have flowed. The video’s tagline sets forth the goal of the series, “the search for perfect specimens.” It’s hard to think of a better example of such a specimen than Jenna Haze, who leads the way in one of her signature roles. The crazy and explicit closeups, the freewheeling camera style, the dripping-wet facials and cumshots — it’s all here, in a trendsetting movie that helped launch Jules Jordan into porn’s orbit and set in motion a popular series (14 installments as of 2016).

Sacrosanct
Kayden Kross recently joined forces with Greg Lansky to create the new label Deeper. It’s all the logical result of her evolving style, which arguably came into its own with her efforts for TrenchcoatX. Kross admitted at the time of Sacrosanct‘s release that it was not a typical porn movie — it did not embrace the bright, clean, all-illuminating lighting of what she described as “White Couch Porn.” Instead, she opted for a darker, more sinister aesthetic, where the play of light and shadow became just as important as capturing explicit action. Watching it now, it’s easy to see how the visuals of Sacrosanct gave rise to Kross’s 2018 megahit After Dark, which expanded on some of the ideas here. (Kross herself appears in scene four, paired with husband Manuel Ferrara and co-star Jillian Janson.)

Bare
A blockbuster all-girl release by a major porn studio may not seem all that unusual an event, but when Bare hit shelves in 2018, it was Jules Jordan Video’s first lesbian movie in nearly four years, giving it an extra oomph and prestige. Kayden Kross’s direction once again proves an asset, helping to guide the dynamic assortment of stars (including such all-girl luminaries as cover girl and award winner Jenna Sativa) into a variety of pleasing scenarios: schoolgirls acting on their attraction, employers engaging in saucy fantasies about their boss, and massage therapists who take the release of tension to a whole new level.

Dredd’s Devastation
It’s no coincidence that Dredd‘s movies use the sort of vocabulary typically reserved for an invading army possessed of stunning destruction power. After all, if you were confronted with a dick as intimidatingly big as Dredd’s, you’d probably find yourself falling back on such lethal language as you imagined the havoc he could wreak. (The pic of Angela White’s forearm framed against Dredd’s penis tells you all you need to know about his legendary dimensions!)
