2019 XBIZ Award Winners: Abigail Mac, Adult Empire VOD & More
It’s that time of the year again! Tearful speeches, gleaming statuettes, dazzling flashbulbs, glamorous red carpets . . . it’s awards season! XBIZ kicked things off last night with its annual awards ceremony. Check out our rundown of some of the major winners:
Female Performer of the Year
Powered by her impressive showcase Abigail, Abigail Mac waltzed her way to the podium for her biggest-ever award win. “I am so proud,” Mac enthused in one of her numerous speeches of the night, thanking Greg Lansky and many others for helping make the win possible.
VOD Site of the Year
Adult Empire won this award for the fifth straight year! And while we didn’t get to give an acceptance speech, we’ll just say that if you haven’t availed yourself of our awesome On Demand section, you are missing out on a porn digital paradise!
Best New Starlet
Good karma found its namesake in the annual prize awarded to the top newbie of the year. She appeared on many fans’ radar after a cover shot for ArchAngel‘s Beautiful Tits Vol. 5 and also scored a memorable role in Wicked Pictures‘ Carnal. Karma is also in contention for the equivalent award at the upcoming AVN ceremony.
Male Performer of the Year
Maxwell captured his first performer of the year prize in a win that Adult DVD Talk’s Captain Jack characterized as “Well deserved and a dependable male talent! “
MILF Performer of the Year
The beautiful Bridgette B. is everything you want in a MILF: measurements to die for, sexual charisma that radiates straight out of your screen, and a batch of 2018 performances that all self-respecting MILF maniacs will want in their collections.
Feature Movie of the Year
Abigail, both the star and the movie, were among the night’s biggest winners. The Kayden Kross-directed showcase was one of several trendsetting movies that bowed in the latter half of 2018, and given its impressive awards haul thus far, it seems likely to become a porn classic.
Crossover Star of the Year
With all the publicity surrounding her alleged affair with Donald Trump, it was no surprise to see Daniels claim the crossover award.
Trans Performer of the Year
Already a big winner at the Transgender Erotica Awards (with several prizes over the past two years), Chanel added to her trophy case with XBIZ’s biggest transgender-themed award.
