Week in DVD summary: Maintaining a streak at number one on AE’s DVD charts is tricky. Even the most popular titles seldom string together a streak of three weeks, and even rarer are those titles that stay on top for four of five weeks. (As of this writing, no Pulse movie has ever had a DVD streak of longer than six weeks at number one). Black & White Vol. 10 fell victim to this law of averages, sliding out of the top slot and allowing its fellow Blacked movie Interracial Icon Vol. 5 to win the week. Going in the opposite direction were Young & Beautiful Vol. 4, Kendra’s Obsession and Bound For Sex Vol. 2.
Week in Pornstars summary: Alexis Texas did keep her streak alive, winning a fourth straight week as Adult Empire’s most popular pornstar. Tori Black found herself in the third spot thanks to the release of her big comeback movie, while Brandi Love and Nicole Aniston similarly trended thanks to associations with prominent new releases.
Week in VOD summary: Sneaky Sex slinked and sidled its way to the top VOD slot, capturing the first number-one ranking for Reality Kings in Pulse history. Tori Black Is Back is strong competition, though, and trended a remarkable 85 slots to end up at number two. AE VOD exclusive Confessions of a Sinful Nun and Pulse newcomer Daughter Swap 2 both inched upward one slot, while Lana held steady at number three.
