‘Give The Talk’ Sexual Health Education Campaign

AMAZE.org created a new sexual health education campaign called ‘Give The Talk’ which encourages parents to talk to their kids about sex before the porn industry does. The mission of AMAZE is to make sex ed approachable, engaging and informative for young adults and their parents. AMAZE is also a resource for parents and educators to build their comfort, knowledge and skill to more effectively engage adolescents with facts.  In the YouTube Video below  – ‘Porn Star Give Parents ‘The Talk’, Monique Alexander delivers a message to parents about the importance of talking to your child about porn. She makes it quite clear that it’s not about if your kids are watching porn, because 90% of kids have seen hardcore porn before the age of 11 – but more along the lines of talking to them about sex before they’re exposed to it. “Look, we don’t want to be your child’s role model. We think you are far more qualified to teach them the facts of life,” Alexander says.
