Porn Blowjobs Aren’t Always As Awesome As They Look
What’s better than a blowjob? Chris Rock has dedicated huge swaths of some of his classic stand-up routines to just that very subject. Nevertheless, the reality of being a pornstar filming those scenes is a little less like entering fellatio heaven. Pornstar Lance Hart chatted with Cracked about some of the unseen realities of porn blowjobs in their recent video essay “4 Surprising Downsides to Being A Porn Star.”
For one thing, the sensational moves that read so well on camera don’t feel as good as they look. “Blowjobs are awesome in real life. In a porn, it has to look really awesome, so you have to be going really hard. You’re going to end up banging their molars, their teeth,” Hart told Cracked. Even one of blowjob porn’s classic subgenres isn’t necessarily fun to shoot. “Deep-throating isn’t typically that great. You end up not really feeling much by the end because you just kind of numb out,” he noted.
But what about the money shot? That’s got to be fun, right? Well, yes and no, according to Hart. “Cumming is awesome at home,” he said. “In porn . . . that’s the money shot, that’s your performance, so you’re focused on how’s this look, where’s it going, am I pointed in the right way, how much of it is there. In a porn, that’s the point, so you’re not as into the moment.” So, the next time you’re looking with envy at the pornstar getting the amazing BJ, remember that the Steak & BJ day version might actually be the better experience!
