Lisa Ann On Club Life, Texting & Dick Pics
Lisa Ann has been retired from porn for nearly two years now, but she’s still a fixture in pop culture, thanks both to her large catalog of existing porn movies and her new career as a fantasy-sports guru. While she’s staying as busy as ever, she’s eased up on wild nightlife, and finds certain aspects of contemporary dating annoying, as detailed in a recent video interview on ThisIs50.
Now 44, Lisa Ann doesn’t regard spending time in nightclubs as quite as fun as it used to be. “I only go to clubs now if I’m doing an event,” she told host Jack Thriller. “I’m in bed now at 9, 9:30 with a book. When I have tried [clubbing] in the last two years, it’s like everybody’s bumping into you – it’s so aggressive. And I’m kind of afraid of people! Let’s face it — the world isn’t as safe as it was when I was going to clubs years ago.”
Another negative aspect of club life: overly aggressive men. “Dudes are so thirsty!” she noted. “Random dude comes up to me: ‘Give me your number!’ I want to look at him and be like, ‘Really? That’s the best you’ve got?’ Years ago, a guy would walk up to a girl and just say hello, hope that he comes back to the club the next week and hope that she’s there again.”
As a result, for the most part Ann enjoys a blissfully single life, even if she does occasionally have some second thoughts. “Sometimes, I’ll like a dude, and I think he’s going to rise up the roster of nice guys that I have in my life,” she said. “Maybe he could potentially be a number one, a ‘starter.’ And then he sends a couple of those annoying texts! When did guys turn into girls? Because I don’t send those texts. I as a girl have to feel guilty because I know I’m supposed to respond with ‘Well, I’m thinking of you, too, emoji, emoji, emoji.’ I just write back ‘Good, busy.'”
Ann also isn’t a fan dick pics, another pervasive aspect of sexting culture. “I’m the woman you have to show a little respect to,” she told Thriller. “Get to know me first! The dick pics I get – you shouldn’t even be photographing that thing. There’s nothing to be proud of there!”
