Digital Sin Launches New Tabu Tales Series
Digital Sin is serving notice that the envelope isn’t just going to be pushed, it’s going to get a good, hard shove! Their latest Tabu Tales release, A Mother Daughter Thing, is characterized as the company’s most “boundary-pushing” installment yet.
Four vignettes explore the delicate and frequently sensual relationships between stepmothers and their stepdaughters. The movie’s trailer quickly evokes the edgy feel with words like “off limits” and “dangerous.” While the movie’s themes clearly trade on the visceral thrill of family roleplay, director Jacky St. James‘s artful approach works to assure that the movie isn’t merely a superficial exercise in dirty deeds.
“I wanted the stories and characters to feel authentic, so casting the right people was very important,” St. James told XBIZ. “Of course the mothers and daughters are steps, and did not have to look alike, but for the sake of making the fantasy more powerful, it was better if they did. There’s a lot of psychology at play in this genre of adult, and the closer you get to capturing it, the hotter the movie becomes for its fans. I couldn’t be happier with these performances. This was such a fun movie to shoot!”
The movie includes the appealing pairing of veteran Julia Ann and newbie Dakota Skye. “My scene with Julia Ann as my stepmom was so twisted,” Skye said. “In the movie, I’m angry cause she’s taken my dad away from me. But, when I act out, she just dominates me too! It’s really hot. We really got into the story, which made the sex between Julia and me all the more crazy and intense. I think that’s really gonna come through when people watch it. I’m really excited about it!”
Ariella Ferrara also contributes some steamy work in another scene (even getting an opportunity to break out some of her Spanish – fans of sexy Latin accents will definitely not want to miss this), co-starring Sara Luv.
