Week in DVD summary: When Joe Montana threw his first touchdown pass as the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, announced Kevin Harlan exclaimed, “This could be the start of something big!” It was, and so too has been the arrival of Blacked Raw. After entering the top five in the last edition of Pulse, the debut movie from the label claimed the top DVD spot. We’re guessing it won’t be the last Blacked Raw movie to do so! Blacked Raw’s existing sister brands of Blacked, Vixen and Tushy filled out the remaining slots, with the exception of Pure Passion‘s Threesome Fantasies Fulfilled at number three.
Week in Pornstars summary: When it comes to AE’s pornstar rankings, 2016 was the year of Julia Ann (36 weeks at number one), and 2017 was the year of Alexis Texas (12 weeks at number one). It’s impossible to say who will rule the rankings in 2018, but Texas got off to a good start, notching her second straight week at number one. Close behind her was — who else? — Julia Ann, followed by frequent 2017 fave Angela White, Kendra Lust and Lana Rhoades.
Week in VOD summary: The On Demand rankings featured a dramatic and unusual reshuffling versus last week’s edition of Pulse, with just one movie holding over from the previous top five (Best In Anal at number three). Recent release Meet Mandingo Vol. 4 rocketed to number one, followed closely by Jessica Drake Is Wicked. Jules Jordan fave Dredd is becoming a persistent presence in the top five, earning a number-four ranking for Dredd’s Devastation. Stacked 8 came in at number five, marking the first time in the past year HardX has had two movies in the top five at once.
