Pizza After Sex? Survey Says It’s the Top Craving

After enjoying a session of steamy passion, you might find yourself craving a nice, big slice of pizza . . . or at least that’s what a new survey from Yelp says.

The popular crowd-sourced review app, which collects user comments on restaurants and more, asked 2,000 millennials what food they preferred to snack on after sex. Pizza was the overwhelming choice, gaining 75% of the vote and far outdistancing the runner-up, tacos. (Judging by the results, it sounds like the survey could just as easily have been asking millennials what their overall favorite foods are.)

In their report about the story, Today explained the choice by linking it to comfort food: “It’s not surprising that pizza won out for one-night stands and budding relationships. It is America’s favorite comfort food, according to a 2016 Harris Poll, which notes that people tend to eat comfort foods after they’ve had both really bad days and really good ones.”

Sex and pizza sound like an odd combination in some ways, but porn and pizza have numerous well-established connections. The porn convention of the horny pizza boy hooking up with the big-breasted homeowner is such an XXX cliche that it has become the stuff of parody. (Spice Studio‘s now-discontinued series Big Sausage Pizza series is a classic example.)
