Briana Banks to Porn Newbies: ‘Don’t Get Plastic Surgery in Your 20s’
The career of Briana Banks stretches back nearly two decades, so she’s learned a thing or two about the adult business. She’s definitely willing to admit she made a few mistakes as a young pornstar but regards those errors as a learning experience. What advice would she give porn newbies? In a recent interview, Adult Empire chatted with Briana about that very subject. Take heed, future MILF stars of the world!
1. Be careful with contracts
“Always have contracts looked at by a lawyer. I don’t care if you’re best friends with someone – things change! When that contract’s signed, there’s nothing you can do about it. So always have a lawyer look at your contracts, whether it’s your best friend or not.”
2. Save and invest your money
“You’re not gonna be 18 and cute forever.”
3. Take care of yourself
“Partying will catch up with you. Every girl does it [and] every guy does it when they get in the industry. As you get older, a lot of the people look really haggard and they look a lot older than they are.” (Before her 2016 comeback, Banks launched into an intense fitness program that saw her lose a whopping 60 pounds to get back to her previous weight.)
4. Don’t get unnecessary cosmetic surgery
“Don’t get plastic surgery in your 20s. You don’t need it! Other than breast enhancements – that’s all I’ve ever had done. I came back and booties were in. And I’m like, ‘What happened?’ When I left, it was all about the skinny blonde with huge boobs and now it’s all about big butts. That was a new one for me. I was like, ‘Well, I’ve got a big butt, but unfortunately I have a waist and arms and a face to match.'”
