Jenny Hendrix Returns
They say there are no second acts in American lives . . . except in porn! When it comes to the adult industry, “retirement” is sometimes less a final farewell and more of a long-term sabbatical. Some stars do make their retirements permanent, but just as many ultimately find themselves returning to the irresistible limelight of Porn Valley. Jenny Hendrix is the latest star to do so — after a long hiatus, she announced her comeback in a press release published this week.
“I took seven years off to work on my personal projects, enjoy my family and travel the world and I really enjoyed myself,” Hendrix said. She also discussed her return in a tweet:

Fans will be pleased to hear that Hendrix’s first new scenes will be shot with ArchAngel, a high-gloss studio that also had the privilege of lensing the initial comeback work of Briana Banks earlier this year. No specifics are available about the scene yet, but Hendrix notes that it will be ready for release before the end of year:

Hendrix shot her first adult movies in 2005 and was nominated for several AVN awards in the initial phases of her career (one of her new goals is to add to her awards case). Upon her original retirement from porn in 2010, Hendrix noted that she felt she climbed to the highest point possible at that time. (She also cited the rise of tube sites and piracy as a key factor.) “I was 23 when I stopped doing scenes. Most girls don’t stop until they’re 31 or 32. I guess I felt like I’d accomplished everything there was to accomplish,” Hendrix told Las Vegas Weekly in a profile published not long after her retirement. Unlike many performers, Hendrix spoke highly of her experiences in the adult industry, implicitly leaving the door open for an eventual return. “I left at the top. I was one of the most sought-after stars in history. I was treated as an entertainer, not a piece of meat. I learned a ton, and will take it with me. No regrets,” she said.
