Alexis Fawx: ‘I’m Not A 9-to-5, Sit-In-A-Cubicle Type Of Person’
Don’t make Alexis Fawx punch a clock!
She may be a small-town Pennsylvania girl by birth, but that doesn’t mean she enjoys a life of predictable routine. “I can’t think that is a great atmosphere for people to thrive in. Some people do—some people need that structure—and some people don’t,” Fawx told AVN in a recent feature story. She tried her hand at various jobs before joining the adult industry. “I was in the Air Force—I did that for a while. And then I went to college. I was a paralegal—I did patents, trademarks and copyrights,” she elaborated. In the end, however, porn came calling, and it ended up being her calling. “I quickly got a contract with BangBros and my whole beginning of my career was in Florida,” she told Adult DVD Talk. “I took some time off, went through some stuff and grew a lot. I wound my way back. I’m loving it and I feel like I’m in a better place than I ever was.”
Fawx’s porn career began in 2010, when she was already in her mid ’30s, so she found herself playing older woman roles from the start. “I got automatically with the MILF roles,” she said. “I’m a lot more confident than when I started out. I didn’t get a chance to shoot out here in L.A. and expose myself to Vegas or L.A., really. With coming back and really coming out here, it’s been nonstop.”
Workaday office routines aren’t going to show up in Fawx’s routine anytime soon, either — she has big plans for the coming months, including a return trip to the AVN Expo. “I got to see everybody and go to the show. It was magnificent to walk down the red carpet. It was really an awesome experience. I called my mom and told her all about it. My mom was all excited,” she said.
