Peta Jensen Retires from Porn [UPDATED]

UPDATE (Spring 2016): Jensen changed her mind a few weeks after this post was published and is now an active pornstar again.

Success came quickly for Peta Jensen, to the delight of her fans . . . and now, likely to the dismay of those same fans, so has retirement! The Florida-born pornstar announced the end of her adult career in a tweet yesterday from her official Twitter account. She did not cite a reason for her retirement but did say she would continue to appear on webcam.

Jensen’s career seemed to advance in double the time of many stars – she shot her first scenes in September 2014 and quickly gained notice in Bra Busters 6 and Giant Juicy Juggs #4. By early spring 2015, Peta was already popular enough to quality for Adult Empire’s 4th Annual Final Femme pornstar popularity contest, where she advanced to the Erotic Eight round.

Her fast-track style was neatly reflected in her decision to enhance one of her signature features – when she joined the industry she had her 34D bust increased to DDD. (“They were too small!” Peta joked to Captain Jack in a 2015 Adult DVD Talk interview.) Jensen signed with Brazzers for an exclusive one-year contract in 2014 but returned to free agency at the contract’s end. Industry accolades followed her first full year in porn: she netted six nominations at the 2016 AVN Awards and a Best New Starlet nod from XBIZ, though she did not capture an award at either ceremony. She even had time during her relatively brief adult career to make a mainstream crossover, appearing in an orgy scene in HBO’s True Detective. Her motto? “Live, Laugh, Love. If not, then what do you have? A miserable life.”

Though Jensen will no longer be shooting adult scenes, numerous in-the-can sequences will debut in the coming weeks and months, including the DVD debut of a scene she shot for Blacked.
