Fall Into Porn

First of all, Happy Halloween to Adult DVD Empire followers and fans. A distinct lack of imagination and time prevents me from delivering a more appropriately thematic blog for these final haunted days and scary nights in October. (Besides, I never felt that horror and porn were tasteful combination in any event.) However, I’m more than happy to share some recent opinions and recommendations for your viewing pleasure:

For a few months at a time, I was a subscriber to Amateur Allure. The fresh-faced ladies and the clear videography made a quite attractive combination. Of course, with sexy thangs like Kennedy Leigh looking so damn good on camera (see the boxcover of Cum Swallowing Auditions Vol. 1), the toll it took on my credit card was worth it. Many of their featured girls would go on to be well-recognized, such as Anikka Albrite (POV Amatuer Auditions Vol. 1), Ashlyn Rae (billed as Miley in POV Amatuer Auditions Vol. 3), Lia Lor (Cum Swallowing Auditions Vol 1) and others, so collectors will find these DVD editions of their xxx-rated auditions worth grabbing

While I have no complaints when it comes to the actual production, the insistent close-ups and stiff camera angles do become rather tedious after awhile. On the other hand, the steady images provide visual consistency when it comes time to self-enjoyment, so there’s no risk of ruining your magic moment with a grimacing close-up of the male talent. It’s good to see that Amateur Allure has released their online products onto discs, where one can share in the intimacy without worrying about download times and monthly fees.
Speaking of amateur videos, I was a bit more puzzled but still amused by a couple of odd offerings from Jules Jordan Video. Both College Rules 11 (featuring sex in dorm rooms) and Haze Her 5 (containing indoor and outdoor lesbian fare) don’t even bother with giving us a cast of characters or any semblance of plot or concept, although the titles are accurate in terms of content. As far as the hardcore is concerned, no one can possibly complain about the amount of near non-stop action in each DVD (College Rules is nearly three hours long, while Haze Her runs over two hours) but no single performer stands out in terms of appearance or sexual conduct. I enjoyed watching both videos because these were women I had not seen before. And who knows? They may eventually join the adult studio ranks if higher education doesn’t lead to their first better job opportunities.

Finally, let me end this discussion with a very strong recommendation: Eternal Passion Vol. 1 is a new release from director Mason, formerly of Elegant Angel where some of their finest studio titles were made under her stylistic and elegant vision. To me, videos such as Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy, Pornstar Workout, and Buttwoman Vs. Sluttwoman are among finest adult offerings of the last five years (which is saying quite a bit since there are more porn titles in any given week than superheroes in an X-Men movie). While Eternal Passion doesn’t quite reach the heights of those aforementioned classics (indeed, few movies could), it does remind fans why Mason (previously known as Sam Ho) deserves all the accolades and awards which have been bestowed upon her. Breathtaking Mia Malkova graces the boxcover and she looks as gorgeous in the movie. Her scene with Danny Mountain is one perfect for couples, and the remaining pairings (Chloe Foster and Logan Pierce, Natalie Heart and James Deen, and finally Dillion Harper and Tyler Nixon) continue the theme of a quieter and gentler hardcore. I can’t wait for Volume 2…
